To answer 1:13:20 I’m pretty sure it has to do something with having another player on the roster who is the same position and of equal overall stat wise. Like for example if Giddey is averaging 10 and his backup who’s a 85 overall who’s also averaging 10, it’s like 2K knows Giddey who’s a 93 overall could be averaging more, so that makes him outraged that he’s not being utilized in a way he wants. Like he’s good so he wants to be good, kinda like a player in real life wanting to go play for their own team I guess. Playing the other MyGM mode and doing player meetings, they do talk about stuff like that, like not wanting you to sign certain players of overall with the same position

That’s wild. It’s prolly p cool to see games for what I imagine are rly cheap. Can prolly get rly good seats too. I feel like these shooters need consistent mins to continue to shoot like 38-40% on crazy high volume. I was thinking about this today. Especially the ones that are shooting off like DHOs and screens, like a lot of movement and not just getting mad corner C&S 3s. Like LAL playing Beasley like 10 mins off the bench or w/e seems mad pointless and of course he’s not shooting well. Small sample size but idk. He had pretty sporadic mins this yr too. Same w Duncan, or the one yr buddy didn’t shoot an absurd % he came off the bench a lot but sometimes started, they messed w lineups a lot too. Just have a feeling these volume shooters need stuff to be consistent or ur not gonna get the best out of them. Like I said you can prolly just give them low volume with mad corner looks and they’ll crush it regardless, but ppl expect them to just be able to not play for a week then come in and shoot 40% on like 8att or w/e on fairly difficult shots a lot of the time. Some of these dudes benefitted from the bubble for sure, but idk. If you’re LAL like just play Beasley 20 mins every night or whatever, have him play the same shifts at least, or just play someone else. Don’t think you can just throw a dude in for 10-12 min randomly and expect them to shoot the lights out. There’s already a lot of variance w shooting and doing stuff like that doesn’t seem too smart.
