Due to this thrilling, captivating rematch, (the Steelers had previously beaten the Cowboys, 21-17 in Super Bowl 10) and both teams vying to be in the 1st Clubs, of wining a 3rd Super Bowl Ring, the skills & performances from both teams, and with intense rival energy, this game is considered, one of the greatest Super Bowls ever. So much so, that there was 26 Hall of Famers players, 15 from the Steelers & 11 from the Cowboys. This season, (1978) the NFL had extended their schedule from 14 regular season games to 16, subsequently adding from 8 to 10 team tournaments, creating 2 extra play-off games. Some other quick facts, the game was held at the Orange Bowl in Miami FL. This marked the 5th & final super bowl to be held there, due to its aging condition. The favorites were Steelers by 3.5, in attendance were 79,484 football fans. The Nielsen Ratings were at 47.1, with an estimated 74.74 million viewers, the Market Share was at 74, and the cost of a 30 second ad was 185,000 big ones. @@NFLZone-bw3ws to me SB 43 and 51 are numbers one a two - this one is 3rd. 43 had 3 of the best plays in SB history and 51 was the greatest comeback and OT victory icing Brady as the GOAT
