Welcome to Project Winter: Blackout DLC
A twist on the classic Traitor vs Survivors game mode, now there is the Demon and Whisperer roles for the Traitor, yes THE traitor. One traitor per game and this game mode focuses on converting Survivors to your team.
Demon
Beware of the Demon, this possessed traitor role will forcefully possess downed Survivors and convert them to the Traitor team. Careful when traveling alone!
Whisperer
Opposite to the Demon, the Whisperer will prefer to stick with the group. The Whisperer does not require the survivor to knocked out but rather passively converts multiple survivors without them knowing, until it is too late.

@@MrCh0o The whole time he opened the craft menu and hovered over the sabos, I was screaming. Like Chilled, your inventory is stacked. Anything you craft or cook is landing on the floor. Thank God no one would ever ever look for a Traitor sabo on the floor and probably don't even know what it looks like outside of the inventory. That could have just been a gun part as far as his friends' are concerned.

So the optimal play there was for Dumbdog to just kill Chilled and take his role as the guaranteed traitor, but Chilled did well keeping up the lie to the bitter en even as everyone was downed and there was no reason to lie because it risked Chibi dying if dd had just finished off all the innocents

I think Dumbdog probably also wanted Chilled on his team and not the other traitor, which is why he didn't question him and didn't stop to think once Chibi started crying out (I mean, I'm pretty sure he was just going to steal Chilled's role before Chilled started lying about Ravin, but then changed his mind very fast)

@@MrCh0o Not to forget, Chilled was claiming the other traitor was dead. So it wouldn't be great to have both traitors dead, and then steal a role to go solo. At that point, you should just go crew.

Usually I've seen Chilled pull the "I'm ID thief" and be lying, rather than "I'm traitor and here's my partner" while lying about the partner. I'm shocked he didn't betray Chibi to get DD on his team. Tough call.

Haha, that would have been super dirty at that point. Not that Chilled is known for retaining honor, I feel like that sort of move would come across as extra cheap. Given how strong a player that DumbDog is in PW, it would be kind of lame if traitors kept trying to recruit him at the expense of their partner everytime. USUALLY when Chilled goes dishonorable, I feel like he still tries to be respectful of others. Making a hard sub on Chibi like that is a good way to discourage Chibi from wanting to continue playing. (Not saying she'd refuse to play over something like that, just that it would probably feel at least a little sour on her side.) It also probably makes it an easier sell to DumbDog because now he doesn't even think he has to fight anyone else for it, that there's just a free traitor spot to pick up. And ironically, he might be less willing to trust that Chilled won't backstab him when he tries to fight Chibi for her role. But the body is already dead? Much easier sell. Less work for DD.

Oh yeah, and also... I guess from DD's perspective, you already have Chilled down. Its easier to just take his role then if you believe him about Chibi and just accept you're on her team now. No reason to spare Chilled in that instance. And combined with my previous message, by Chilled saying his partner was dead with an open role to take, provides extra incentive for DD to leave Chilled alive, so he doesn't have to solo as traitor. By calling out Chibi, Chilled would be banking on that DD priortizes Chilled over Chibi. With Chilled's actual approach, he's telling DD that his partner can either be no one or Chilled. I think I've seen a game previously where Chilled was claiming ID thief as a traitor murdered him (DD maybe?) DD was able to get the other traitor to willingly agree to dual Chilled for the traitor spot. So it was a different dynamic and they were able to get everyone to agree. (And then I think Chilled dishonorably snuck in a bear trap to unfairly tilt the contest in his favor, lol.) So it was a reversal of IDvsTraitor, and it was more controlled to where everyone was on board with shenanigans.
