i think the reason your seeing this nice bounty is i recall this is when gamestop was no longer taking the ps2 and gamecube games. depending on the wealth in your area, its possible they wanted the space back and as gamestop wasn't telling the parents the value of the games(esp the promo disk) it likely went the first place it could be deposited:)

I always get games at goodwill. Just check to make sure they aren't scratched or anything. A lot of times a $50 dollar game will be $1 at my goodwill. One time I got Super Mario Galaxy. It was $2 and it was brand new. It looked like it had never been used. Every once in a while, you'll even find new stuff. If its in plastic wrapping, and it costs one buck, you know you hit the jackpot. Idk why people don't do this more often. You end up saving like 60 dollars sometimes.

I'm so jealous, our thrift stores are few and far in between! The closest Goodwill is two hours away but we have two secondhand stores in town and a Salvation Army 45 minutes away but they're all so small...but the last time I went to Goodwill I scored DDR Max. Not a lucky find but I took it anyway because I love DDR. Our town also used to have a pawn shop and that was where I found like half of my PS2 games, lol (I found games like FFX-2 and Fullmetal Alchemist and the Broken Angel there, along with two of my Devil May Cry games).
