im glad im not the only one heavily reminded of Star Renegades from this. I actually hadnt played Star Renegades since it released so this gave me a reason to check out all the free dlc thats came out since~ both are amazingly fun games though~

I was about to buy it, but that last fight shows it is way too unbalanced. It would have taken like 10 rounds from 4 people to kill that one dog, and the enemies on the frontline could kill a teammate in two hits. That is ridiculous compared to the battle before it.

I dunno, Tom made some misplays in that last fight, and the difficulty ramp didn't seem any worse than FTL. Sometimes the RNG just gets ya.

I did get it, and yeah it's tough. The devs' most recent post on steam says they're going to work on the difficulty.

This almost reminds me of World War Z, the original novel by Max Brooks; It's basically a bunch of short stories from around the globe before, during, and after the outbreak. I never watched the film and avoided it, but I highly recommend people read the book. It is literally nothing like that stupid movie.

Got this game because of Tom! It's really difficult and I've only made it to the end of the second stage once, but it's fun and has a lot of potential.

The shield negating all damage, including the poison and bleed, seems a bit unfair. The last fight especially makes me think it should instead pierce through protection. Aside from that the game looks nice!
