Inverters are awesome and super energy efficient. Not to mention. I was standing beside a Bosch the other day and couldn’t believe how quiet it was.

I installed both Flexx and far more Bosch, even a few Bosch condensers with old evap coils with a piston, they wall work great, SUPER quite. Felxx falls short on warranty, but other than that, great products.

Gree does -22 where as nothing else for a unitary HP does that. The efficient of Gree unit is better than almost everything on the market

The problem with Nylog is that when you have to toque the flares on a Mini Split inverter they are never toque correct because it acts like a lubricant and it’s a sealant that never drys. Also your tool must be a really good clean and well maintained concentric flaring tool to make the perfect flares every time.

Nylog won't affect required torque if you only put it on the flare face - don't put it on the threads - the threads aren't what seal.

Just use press refrigeration fittings. Faster & No leaks.

Seriously. Some oil for the flare. Thread lock and torque specs. It’s the quality of the brass at issue.

Depends what brand. Inverters are really nice for low ambient and sound but the carriers are expensive and troublesome

U say the carriers are troublesome? Doe s that include the ACIQ brand? They are supposed to be re badged version of the carrier inverter system?

Gree flex hooks up exactly like the Bosch from what I have seen. I just wonder how it does in comparison with humidity control and all the other issues that plague the Bosch.

You said you can use any AHU with a TXV with the Gree units. Does that include using a Gree Flexx outdoor unit with a Unico HV system?

Any air handler EXCEPT for the RUUD/Rheem W coil as it won’t remove humidity
