Yeah Rodgers had a team of packers all stars essentially and people who you think of when you think "packers" Donald Driver, Jordy Nelson,James Jones, Ryan Clark and that team went 13-3 the year prior to Rodgers taking the helm. Don't get so excited. Typically, there is a let down and the last thing you want is for GB players and coach to go in overconfident against the Bears. The Bears have won 5 out of last 7 and improved immensely. They pose a more serious problem for the Packers, a stout run defense & a very mobile QB who when rushed hard, will simply take off for 5-10-20+ yards. The Packers defensive coach is weak. The head coach often calls a brilliant game only to follow it up with a really stupid game plan. I would say that the Packers must avoid penalties, and have a lot of motion, some roll outs and a couple trick plays. I don't have a good feeling about this game against the Bears, a real nemesis and they will be coming for Love and the Packers. DO NOT underestimate them, They have been playing very well.

I don't think there is any Packers fan, who has been following the NFL this year, doesn't realize how much the Bears have grown. Much like we aren't the same team we were Week 1, they aren't either. Fact is, win or lose, the Packers got what was needed this year. In a rebuilding/transition year the question they needed answered was is Jordan Love the QB to build around. The answer is a resounding yes. That's what this season is/was about. The rest is icing on the cake.

@@ET-df2xzI agree with OP as well as you. This was a rebuild year and we are playing with an opportunity to make the playoffs. We have the youngest team in the NFL and the last team to have a team with an average age as low as ours was the winless cleveland browns. While we do have a chance to feel a serious letdown against the hot streaking bears, the big picture is that we are primed to be dangerous in the next few years. Go pack go.

All that being said...let's see exactly how far this team can get... I thought it was all over after Tommy Cutlets danced all over Joe Barry's game plan, but they still manage to stay relevant. Is it probable that GB makes the playoffs? Maybe not. Is it possible? 100%. It also wasn't probable that we would see another stellar QB in GB after 30 years of MVP HOF level play at that position. Win or lose Sunday, it's apparent the front office has assembled a team with a very bright future. As many here have commented, I also had very restrained expectations for the year and I haven't been disappointed overall. A few games, yes, but that's part of the young team figuring 'it' out. A win and a playoff game, maybe even two is more than enough. Let's not get greedy, yet!

It is very very very obvious that the current recievers are talented. Don't act like i is making these guys. It's also very obvious favre and rodgers could hit guys on deep in stride passes much better than love had. The stats are so ridiculous to compare. The TD to Reed is the first in stride deep pass Love connected on all season. The dick riding is getting old. He looked terrible until week 10. Be real. He also looked terrible in the giants game.

@@heli0s2003 you are forgetting about lost fumbles, accounting for that Jackson has 13 total turnovers. Jordan Love also has 13, but he has more passing touchdowns than Lamar Jackson has total touchdowns, to be fair though some of Loves touchdowns could have gone to a running back. That being said the fact that Love's stats are so comparable to an MVP quarterbacks in his first year, with little more than rookies around him, is impressive. Future is so damn bright in Green Bay it might blind me.

If Love stays within Coach's offensive system, he and his YOUNG receivers will be a force. In a way because of injuries it's interesting that they don't have a number one receiver at the moment, defenses don't seem to be focusing on one receiver. It looks like mostly straight up coverage for Love to read. We don't need a scrambling quarterback (ask Chicago how that's working, they're exciting to watch but when has one taken a team all the way). If Jones and Dillon can stay healthy it will only drive defenses crazier. Plus he's been missing his supposed number one tight end. This has been a total team effort the second half of this season. Right now they look like a wrecking ball looking for something to hit. It'll be interesting to watch what they do in the upcoming draft, remember Arron Jones is the old man now.

Going into this season, I downplayed this team to be maybe a bit south of .500 but they’re even at the moment with 1 game left. This is a honest surprise by and I’m in for the years to come with Jordan Love. Hopefully he can get something going in his future.

Personally I was ready for Aaron to go last year. Super disappointing playoff runs especially, like he chokes almost every year. I know some of you blame it on special teams etc but as qb you gotta put points on the board. If Rodgers didn't want to play with rookie recievers, he shouldn't have accepted the highest paid player contract in the NFL .. he was paid to lead , he did not and Love is proving to be a better leader than Rodgers .. Brady took salary cuts to put a better team around him , Rodgers didn't.. LaBron James needed other superstars to win .. neither of them has done what Love is doing now as a 1st year starter and that is making every young player succeed in his offense...Love is doing everything, Rodgers couldn't or refused to do..Rodgers was always looking for the easy route to cover up his declining and faults.. Rodgers was exposed without Adams, that maybe he isn't the smartest man on the field, or made even reciever great, because he isn't and he didn't.. but the more Love plays and succeeds he exposes Rodgers more and more as he does with this offense and scheme that Rodgers claimed couldn't get done , and Love did it in 1 season... if Love makes the playoffs , it will just show Rodgers wasn't everything he claimed , and he absolutely was not the best Packer ever

Rodgers ruined his reputation by lying about being immunized against covid. Worse, he listens to Joe Rogan!!! He was a real whiner and not a team player his last few years. Granted, the management of the Packers is pathetic. Rodgers could have taken salary cuts as you said and as I have said as well. He was making so much money making commercials, to be honest, he no longer cared. He became a narcissist because everybody was praising him as the best. Contrast that with Brady whom I am not a big fan of but who handled situations much better.

Rodgers was great most years, but last year he didn't do anything to help the rookies along, and he took the guys he wanted with him to NYJ. He probably also wanted Tonyan and Marcedes Lewis. As A GM, Rodgers is really bad. It's his own fault if he had less talent last year then Love has now, it was Rodgers choice to have the less talent on the field. Maybe he could've helped Watson, Doubs & Toure be like Reed, Wicks & Melton.

Umm, all of your stats are wrong. Love is not first in the league for total touchdowns. He's 3rd. Hes 10th in passing yards, not 3rd. I dont know how to pull up the "big time throws" stat. Love isn’t Rodgers. If there’s one thing this season has taught us it’s that Love is a poised dude. Which is critical in playoff situations. He’s also CLEARLY a team leader and doesn’t whine when his receivers drop a pass or two. With some experience dealing with pressure, this kid’s gonna have ice in his veins. He just doesn’t rattle easily!
