Regarding Gary, what's tough to watch is when you watch TJ Watt, Watt splits out extremely wide and can defeat 3 blockers like their not even on the field. When the opposing offense runs inside, Watt adjusts and wins! Gary doesn't come across as intelligent and lacks a tool box of ways he can win.

Gary and Walker never have consistently met the 1st round/contractual expectations. Being an apologist by saying it's the system or it's only 5 games in, etc that is just a smoke screen for who these players are.....solid average players.

I don't know, I never expected to grab an end of the 1st round lb and expected him to perform like #5 overall. Same with Wyatt. End of the first rounders are more like 2nd rounders. I think the expectations aren't meeting fans' standards, I think the Packers have a much better idea than all of us.

This is the point though, the expectations don't mean anything. Yes, you'd like more production. But to dismiss them as "average" just because of expectations that the players themselves had nothing to do with, is nonsense. They can still be valuable pieces of the defensive puzzle.

@@cheeseheadtv obviously they can be valuable. My larger point is really around making excuses for first round multimillionaires. I liked your video today in that you were calling out under performers in a nuanced way. No doubt players like Gary and Walker are getting heat or strong encouragement from their coaches. I'd just like to see it on the field more consistently. I know that my life long love for The Pack and wanting dominance each week is an unreasonable expectation. I still want it cause I bleed green and gold. GPG!!!

i thought he was an aggressive guy. bump and run in your face db play. exotic blitzing and this and that im not seeing any of this. There not bout what they be talking about 🤷. stokes sucks . the fastes suckiest corner to come out of that draft. nixon sucks hes always getting burned and he never turns his head around to locate the ball. he needs to stick to punt returning . they need to rotate tyron hopper in and out too if u ask me.
