When I was younger the version of this story had a red ribbon instead, and the boy and girl were nameless. The boy wore all black all the time and the girl wore all white all the time, except for the red ribbon. Interesting to see the same story with superficial differences

I think this tale is adapted in Carmen Maria Machado’s “Her Body and Other Parties.” It’s the first of 8 short stories. It’s a really good read

I associate it with that. Its definitely able to be a very powerful metaphor for respecting boundaries and bodily autonomy of partners.

I'm sure Alfred had a great time explaining that in court. Also I remember it being a red scarf instead of a green ribbon when I was told this story, so I guess it's just one of those details that varies person to person (great art btw 😊).

What the Hell, I got such nostalgia. I had forgotten this story entirely, but it used to scare the shit out of me.

Don't know what that was, don't know why it was recommended, don't know why I watched it, thought it was amazing.

There is no symbolism, it's just creepy old tale being creepy old tale. Also who are you, and what are you doing in my recommendations?

Shouldn't you be watching cocomelon or skibby whatever instead of doing this
