The Grenzlandring | Forgotten race track in Wegberg | Germany

Between 1948 and 1952 car races were held on an oval around the town of Wegberg near Mönchengladbach on the Lower Rhine. Formula II and Formula III raced here. Motorbike races also took place. The well-known racing drivers of the 1950s drove in Wegberg. In 1952, one of the worst accidents in motorsport history ended the history of the car race track on the Lower Rhine.
