Beautiful view of The Nations Capital. The driver has great customer service skills. He spoke with such etiquette speech.

Nice Video! I like your Richmond one too. DC's greyhound station used to look like a real bus station. Greyhound recently moved out of this terminal and into the train station parking garage. They only have 8 gates and a small ticket counter inside a tiny trailer like structure. They don't even have seats inside to wait for your bus. You have to wait outside in the cold. Such a small facility for such a busy greyhound stop. I think Mega and Bolt bus are taking their business away.

There's a heated shelter on the bus deck with seating now.But yeah, you still have to go outside to get a snack, use the bathroom, grab a smoke(if you're so inclined), or go to your bus.

I rather travel on the greyhound bus than any other bus transportation, you don't see greyhound in the news unlike the other buses.

I think it's very sad that D.C. sold it's old Greyhound Terminal on 1st Street. As you said, it looks like a 'real' bus station. It's also the one 'and' only 1970's era Greyhound Terminal in D.C., and they're going to tear it down. I wish they would at least incorporate the structure into the new development, without destroying it.

It's a pity that they're going to demolish D.C.'s old Greyhound Terminal at 1005 1st Street NE. As you said, the old place felt like a 'real' bus station. The Union Station parking garage doesn't feel like a real bus station. The old place was also built by an architect that built other Greyhound Stations across the U.S. in the 70's and 80's. The old place is irreplaceable, and will be missed by some.
