I had no idea what the Grimm Troupe was, but I did start to get annoyed that I had to keep seeking out those little Grimmlings all over Hallownest. And I'm pretty sure I still haven't beaten Troupe Master Grimm...😂 Great job as usual, you two! This is a great piece to cover;

To beat him in you can cheese by getting all soul gauges, then maxing out you charm build for spells, hit him during the bow, and abyss shriek into him for the whole attack, just tank the damage

I suggest actually LEARNING his attacks. Cheesing is easy, but the satisfaction you get after defeating a boss by studying their moves is x100 times better.

He's a fairly easy boss, his attack patterns are well choreographed so learning them isn't too hard, and punishing his openings is easy. If you can get into the flow of the dance, nightmare King is easy too.

I'm assuming you're asking this with the idea of Grimm being at the height of a human in mind, so I'll respond in that way: I personally believe Grimm would win. While both he and Darth Vader are cunning foes, Grimm would always be able to hop back up since the two would be fighting in the mortal world. Tides may change if Anakin's force ghost confronts the Nightmare King in the dream world, though

But I mean that maybe this "Grimm" Character is some representation of Death? Some Grim Reaper or some Demon of sorts? The game, as you said, is 90% about death, and still, this is the first time that the key of d-minor (the key most often associated with death) appears.

Playing hollow knight, i noticed that grimms fight (and the nightmare king) have slightly amplified/modified/different music when doing the pufferfish attack, the one where Grimm sits in the middle of the screen, ballooned, and just releases projectiles.
