This tiny paragraph took way more effort than it should have, but whatever making these crappy copypastas is fun. Also, the way Happy eats KitKats has traumatized me. I could have lived my whole life happily without seeing that.

ill be honest, I've dropped the lotv voyage in the past, for a diff reason than most. there was just a camping sloop sitting behind a rock with reaper 5, and they were waiting for us to finish the voyage, and we decided we wanted to get it over with and kill them, but every time we approached them, they sailed away, no fighting, so we got pissed that they just wanted to get the loot by swooping it and taking it without fighting, so we just cancelled it and started chasing them, and then they serverhopped. So in some situations I think its fine to cancel the voyage, but I can understand getting frustrated when they cancel the voyage cuz they don't want to fight. the only reason we cancelled is because all these dudes cared about was getting the athena without fighting, and that's equivalent to running away from a fight, especially when it wasn't some rowboat stealth mission, because we knew they were there, just waiting for it to end so they could swoop in and steal it.

call me what you want but I'm not some pve lover, just frustrated by these people who are essentially that kid in a group presentation, wanting to do no work but wanting the credit. sinking someone doing lotv, or who finished lotv is doing the work and getting the reward, because you sank them fair and square, but just hovering and running when you are approached is just unacceptable.

Welcome to sea of thieves. Some of the most cowardly players in a game I’ve ever encountered. They’d rather sit and wait for hours for you to finish voyages just to try and swoop in to steal at the end and when you try to attack they run. They’d probably make 2x the money they’d get from robbing you if they got off their ass and did their own quests.

It's nuts that you can even cancel LotV voyages for everyone involved. I understand it's a voyage but the last bit is clearly designed to be potentially fought over due to the massive tornado. If someone cancels on the last step I think it should stick around for 30 mins.
