Robert Pizor Sounds like our boy Henry! Psychopathic as they come but I mean if the mother of his then 3 year old child isn't safe then nobody would be wouldd they? and look at Catherine of Aragon and Mary he banned them from seeing talking even writing to Each other till the day Catherine died she longed for her beloved daughter and then to add to it Henry forbade Mary from the funeral even when her lady or whatever it was called offered to take her and basically guard her she said it like tha to appeal to Henry but Nooooo he would nto budge I mean which is worse being murdered or dying of a broken heart from being banished from your owwnly child I think Catherine died of a mother's broken Heart! And then to ddinsult to injury the only way Mary got Henry's affections back as much as she possibly could from a Narcissist who does not genuinely love anyone but himself Mary had to sign tht infamous paper denouncing herself as his daughter confirming that she ws illegitimate and a bastard child and denouncing her Faith Mary was crushed she felt instant guilt that she had betrayed her mother herself and worse her God ! But she essentially had no choice she was also in fear of her own life Henry had already shown nobody was really safe from hsi wrath she knew that included her she knew if the idea suited him he could and wouldeasily have her killed or she feared he would and lets be real he would have ! so actually when Mary declined to have Elizabeth executed when he was implicated in a plot to take Mary down she already showed the difference in her and her father because I don't think Henry ever turned down an execution so she held her for 2 months then set her free I wish she would have done the same with the young Jane Grey but she didn't Mary also have all that in her Adolescents and then enduring a marriage where her love was not reciprocated and 2 false alrm pregnancies Mary also essentially died o fa broken Heart at the young age of 42 the actual medical cause was ovarian cancer probably since she had lived with female issues her entire teens to adult life Catherine her mother had a black mass on her heart official cause is heart cancer some speculated that she was poisoned by Henry and Anne but Nah! Annr was not evil and Henry was not stupid he did not want to piss of Spain he would not win that war! I mean he was not 18 anymore by then ! LOL also wasn't he huge or getting there I know when he died he was about 400 pounds those poor horses kidding he had to stop riding horses the bigger he got luckily for the horses! LOL

Gruesome end for a poor cook without trial. Surely there was no mercy, no humanity in Tudor England. General public used to come witness executions is itself horrific. The cook was just a pawn in a much bigger game of politics and dark love.

Seems obvious to me Henry was behind this attempted murder of Fisher. Roose took the blame for it without blaming anyone but himself.

They should take down all of king Henry's paintings, does not deserve he's status, monstrous thing to do, we condemned Hitler for he's appalling brutality, we should condemn this .weather he was guilty or not, that way to execute someone is shocking .

The most common form of execution was hanging, drawing & quartering. First you would be hanged but just before your neck breaks your cut down and stretched out by your 4 limbs. Then your abdomen is sliced open and your guts are drawn out, laid on your chest and set afire. Finally your limbs are chopped off one by one. Last of all your head is cut off!! This was not something that died out in Tudor times It was done to Robert Emmett in Dublin in 1802!!! And they say the British spread civilization!!!!!
