As a veteran GTA player for the past 22 years since 2001’s Grand Theft Auto 3 I can tell you this… Rockstar would never even mention “The State of Leonida” if it wasn’t a major part of the game. Had it only been a Vice City Map we would of never saw an emphasis on Leonida! With that being said, There will 100% be a State of Leonida with other cities like they did in GTA San Andreas and Red Dead Redemption 2

Na cuz in gta v they also would mention the state of San Andreas a lot and it only had Los Santos in it :( so the state of Leonida could prob just be Vice city and the surroundings

The state of San Andreas was Los Santos, Sandy Shores, Blaine County, Paleto Bay, etc. Those are all separate cities in San Andreas not Los Santos @@eddiemachado5439

Given how spot-on the GTA community was in predicting the map for the last GTA, I can totally envision that what we're seeing now is pretty close to the real deal.

Imagine they make a parody of google maps as an app or other "downloadable" apps in the in-game phone so you can pinpoint destinations to the map there. Since it will be more than 10 years since GTA V released the phone use and technology has improved so much that more improved and expanded phone and internet use would make sense and be expected, like the social medias showed in the Trailer. Players being able to upload and share pics/clips with other players on Rockstar's own social media platform like Snapshot, Bleeter, Lifeinvader in the game from the in-game phone. There is so much potential.

i imagine this is pretty close to the real map, they were freakishly close with mapping out gta 5, it will be so fun to cause chaos in the Disneyland parody

Another great video, really enjoying them on a daily. I realise how much time and effort goes into editing, ensuring the contents is relevant and interesting and keeping people engaged but you certainly are creating an audience so fair play bro 🤜 I really hope the map is similar to this but my only concern is 'Grassrivers' due to the fact it appears to be 1/3 of the map I just hope it doesn't feel empty, if they implement the hunting/fishing mechanics from RDR2 and have several side quests and 'random events' to take part in etc then it'll be great!

I wish for it to be like GTA SA map but bigger than RDR2 with more interiors to visit, especially places with functions like restaurants such as Cluckin' Bell or gyms or bars. I mean real bars where you can start a fight, drink, throw darts, watch TV, or go out with Lucia as Jason for a date or just hang out, like in GTA V, you could do with calling Amanda as Michael. I want a map where you have two or three big cities and a couple of smaller ones, like little towns with different cultures, so the world would seem bigger and more realistic, unlike the GTA V map where you have just Los Santos surrounded by mountains and a totally useless desert/farm areas. GTA V had a much bigger map than GTA San Andreas, but it had one city and one desert. San Andreas had three cities, multiple villages and backwoods, canyons, deserts, swamps, mountains, many small places to explore, and varying terrain everywhere. San Andreas was smaller, but in my opinion, more fun. AND NOW WE COULD (AND SHOULD) HAVE EVERYTHING - OUR BIGGEST, MOST POPULATED, MOST DETAILED MAP IN GTA/GAMING HISTORY. I've been waiting for GTA VI for so long that I'm sure that I will not live long enough for Rockstar to even acknowledge the existence of GTA VII. So, I want GTA VI to be truly a game of a decade for a decade, where I could spend weeks or even months just in Vice City before moving to other areas.

There's so much to unpack with this game, will the fuana be intertwined with gameplay? How does this revamped police system work? How much of the map will be accessible? Will they update the gunplay? Will special abilities make a return? How in-depth is the social media in the game? And more importantly, how do you satarise a world that has fallen into a parody of it's former self? Let's see if they can pull it off. So excited to see more, and keep up the good work BOI.

I do believe that special abilities are back. In one of the leaks from last year Jason has the ability to highlight valuables/interactive items.

I think the multiple cities means Tampa and Orlando.. look at the tip of real life Florida on a map. Tampa and Orlando are in that area that the concept maps are based off of.. Tampa would be that city all the way on the left and Orlando is the one at the top

If the official map resembles this construction, it would make for such a cool and dynamic map. Rockstar really showed off in RDR2 the incredible world design they are capable of when they don't need to program for older hardware as they did with GTAV. Given how long they will have had to work with next-gen with VI, I can only imagine great things from the map in this game

I wonder if Fairyland could actually be a reference to Gaterland. Being from Florida, we don't have Disneyland. We have Disney world. Especially with Fairyland being in the sticks, Gaterland would make much more sense.

I’d tend to agree, however, with GTA 5 we got a trailer, an announcement that the game would be delayed for 6 months, then trailer 2. If we get the game in April 25’ and rockstar do the same style of 3 trailers before launch, there’s a chance we could get a trailer before summer 24 and then the 3rd trailer a year from now. But, we don’t know, so I guess we’ll have to see!

Most definitely. Think bigger ;) 70% of buildings enterable: multiple different gun stores Motels/hotels Outdoor specialty shops Food, food, food!! Pawn shops (interactable) Clubs, penthouses, bars, concert venues, specialized clothing shops (example: WSS Shoe store-spotted via billboard in trailer) home invasions (nearly any house-neighborhood watch is like a 2nd police force with it’s own wanted system) Random parties, street events, sideshows & races, random accidents **increased consequence for unprovoked redruM** Interior design!! (Both vehicle & housing) Boat, plane & helicopter upgrades/customization …….. This is all my personal, informed, guesses of some of what’s to come.

I believe most buildings will have open interiors but you should expect a decent amount reused interior models. Your expectations would be reasonable if this game was in full development for 10 years, but 5 years is not enough to add so many features and do everything else they need to do

Hopefully Fairyland (gta's Disneyland) is a fully functional theme park that you can ride the rides, interact with people dressing up as different characters and even create mayhem in the park especially if every environment is destructible

I’m sorry to break it to you but there’s no way we get a trailer in the next 2-3 months. For GTA V the second trailer didn’t come out til a year later. That being said, if the Spring 2025 release date that keeps getting thrown around outta speculation and the earnings call leak is true, then I think we’ll see a second trailer at least maybe 6 months from now
