The Crying Lead Guitar sound can be enjoyed optimally when played with a Fender Stratocaster or Gibson Les Paul. Hopefully one day Om Alip can own one of those two brands and play it as a Solo Crying Lead Guitar that can stir the feelings of the audience or listeners, like Andrew Latimer (Camel/England Progressive Rock Band); Dave Gilmore Of Pink Floyd or like Ritchie Blackmore (Deep Purple/Rainbow/England HardRock Band), when performing lead guitar solos on dramatic ballads.

I knew he was going to play an electric guitar sooner or later, may be his problem is budget, which he did not have. And now may be he already has or some "creative' guitar producers granted him their guitar so it will be a free and cheap advertisement for them. Alip is great guitarist no matter if it is acoustic or electric and he has proved it. Again alip has surprised us, as usual. It is a great reaction from buddy. What happened in July 1997? Actually, July 97 was the beginning of the monetary crisis in Thailand which spread throughout Southeast Asia. In Indonesia, the impact is very large in the socio-economic and political fields. the Kudatuli riots, the Semanggi and Trisakti tragedies up to the fall of the Suharto regime, marked the beginning of the reformation era. I think, this song more or less describes that big historical event.
