People tend to like violence and drama and as this short movie seems to be purposely steering away from that and denoting how it's trying to downplay the violence and drama all the way up to the end when you think it might just not have any. Check out the channel "Omeleto" here on YT, they're where I first saw this short film and they've got tons of great ones like it. There are two time travel ones with very different premises on there that are amazing.
