The original group may still exist in Japan, but this one appears to be a separate group (and exclusive to AEW) at the moment since we've yet to see Jay White address the original Bullet Club in Japan. Hopefully they build on it for next year's Forbidden Door. Maybe we'll even see them plant the seeds for it on Wrestle Dream too.

Njpw owns the rights to the name Bullet Club(that’s the only reason the two founding members in wwe can’t even use the name despite most of its best leaders being there) , they have a partnership with AEW wich is why bullet club golds even exist but if they had no deal irl then this stable would have had another name(just like the OC in wwe)
