I have congenital analgesia, which is just another name for CIP.. I've never met another person whos the same as me in my life, It would be nice to meet another person with the same condition.. not only is the inability to feel pain dangerous, as there's no alert to something being wrong.. but having CIP has caused me allot of emotional anguish also.. like when people want to see for themselves, so they accidentally purposely spill Thier hot coffee on me. Or poke me with sharp objects behind my back, to see if I react.. it's not nice, I'm still a person. There has also been times I've had Brocken bones, and another person has a small cut.. because people know I can not feel any pain, theyll show all Thier concern to the person with the cut. They don't mean to, it's just the other person can feel therefore seem more in distress. Sometimes it makes me feel as though I don't matter.. like I'm less than a person, like it's ok to burn me or prick me, cut me and so on like I'm a guinea pig here to fascinate people.. and then when I'm injured, who cares cause I can't feel it anyway.. I always wonder if other people with the same condition have similar issues. Or if they get sad because at times people don't understand, the same way I do

When I was younger, I has something that similar to his as I used to can’t feel any pain, only different is that I did gained ability to feel pain after reach certain age. And first time I experience pain, I was very scared of pain so bad that I will do anything to avoid as taking needles to avoid catching flu. I do build my tolerance of pain very slowly. Just still scared of pain, even just bit. I do not know why I gained ability to feel pain. Sometimes I wish I do not gained that ability.

I do not know how it happened to me. It make me wonder does gaining ability to feel pain is possible? Or my former inability to feel pain is different system from their. My mom always say that I can’t feel any pain and very worried about me. And she are very happy that I gained this ability. That happened before I was enough old to remember.

@@rizzom5447 I do not know, I only know this from my mom and that explain why I am so scared of pain so badly due to start late to experience pain for first time. Edited: mom told me that I gained ability to feel pain at 4 - 5 years old.
