Even though it's hard, I kinda hope LockStep is a minigame that returns in a future Rhythm Heaven game, but updated in the same way that Karate Man was brought over from the DS where more stuff was added to it.

@Tinobeans Of course I'm aware of Rhythm Heaven: Megamix, but the older minigames that were brought back for that one (like Blue Birds, Monchy Monk, and LockStep) are only updated with better graphics. Other than that, they're exactly the same as their DS counterparts when it comes to gameplay. In my comparison of updating it similarly to Karate Man, the version of it that was brought back in Rhythm Heaven Fever added new moves like punching on the offbeat and doing flurry attacks. Now, as I said; if Lockstep were to be brought back and updated in the same vein, then there could perhaps be new moves added to it as well to make the gameplay more varying and dynamic.
