I know I’m a bit late to this, but it’s comics such as these I can actually see happening in the series. Barbie OD’ed, and she knew it, and she knew she was dying. She couldn’t turn to or ask anyone for help; even if she did, it would already be too late. So she did the one thing she could do: call up the only family she had left so she could spend time with them in her last moments of life. And in those moments when she’s with Blitz, we see Barbie for who she truly is. She’s obviously still angry at Blitz for the death of their mom, but she’s also upset and confused at the fact that while Blitz has bounced back from under the worst of circumstances, she hasn’t. And that’s why she truly hates Blitz. Or hated him. But alas, she still set her hate aside just to see him one last time. And when Blitz told her about Loona, that’s when she started to crack, because she knew she’d never be able to meet her niece. But what truly broke her was when Blitz said she’s still his sister. Because Barbie knew she could die knowing that Blitz doesn’t hate her, and that they’d always be siblings, no matter the circumstances. And when Blitz puts his jacket on Barbie, she manages a very weak smile, because she passed away knowing that the last thing Blitz, her brother, and the only family she had left, did in her final moments was make her feel comfortable and at peace, normally how one would want to feel before passing on. This comic is bittersweet to say the least, because Blitz may have lost his sister, but Barbie passed away knowing that her brother came to see her and comfort her, even if he didn’t know she was dying.

He has his flaws but he is always loyal to his family and the fact that he sent his little sister to rehab shows that he didn't want to lose a nother family member like what happened to his mom and after his mom died in a fire it changed his view on what a better person he could be by adopting loona and protecting Moxie when they were in jail and introducing and hiring Millie to Moxie he has shown himself that he can be a better person than he was before
