My 1st fruit of mental energy is 3am everyday. Thats when I kneel beside my bed and thank Him for His grace and mercy enabling me to wake up to another new day. Then I ask for His wisdom/knowledge to be able to go thru' nother day's journey. I cannot leave home without attending to my appointment with The Father. The day sure does get sweeter everyday. Currently reading Matthew. Will finish the Gospels, then start reading from Genesis and read straight through both Testaments. Prayer for me is in the morning when I wake up and before I go to bed, simply because that's when I have the most privacy. Bible reading typically follows prayer. Thank you for this teaching, Brother David. God has recently revealed to me that I have been spending my energy in places, mostly with individuals, who aren't respectful of my love and attention. To hear you reinforce that revelation was comforting and powerful. To God goes all the glory. Amen.

So happy for you that you've found Jesus! That's wonderful! Being a new Christian is hard, especially in this world we live in today. I would recommend that when you read your Bible, start with the Gospels (Mathew, Mark, Luke, and John). Be prepared to have some hard things happen. A lot of times when people first accept Christ, the devil attacks us hard. He wants us to doubt God and give up, but stay focuses on him. If you do that, "No weapon formed against you will prosper". Bad things will always happen because we live in a world of sin, but when you accept Christ, he helps you gets through those things. Just always trust him and trust that he has a plan for you and trust that he will take care of you no matter what. Welcome to our family, brother! God loves you so much, and you are so special to him. ❤

I felt lost and overwhelmed at 1st too. Keeping yourself in the scriptures is key. You have to let go of your surrounding voices. You have to trust in the Holy Spirit to keep guiding you in the right path. I downloaded an audio bible to help me read thru it. My favorite is a King James version; The Word of promise audio bible. It has helped me immensely. I also have an NLT and an NASB version. I am going thru them all. If you want a few names to check out... Voddie Bauchum and John MacArthur are great biblical teachers. If they aren't afraid to offend us, then they ARE teaching us. God bless you in your journey to the truth 🙏💖🙌✨️🙌 Worship and Praise Him always, for He is Holy! 🙌✨️🙌✨️🙌

Some of us are chosen to learn the hard way. Take accountability for your faults but don't take blame. It's possible someone in your early life let you down so you subconsciously never listened. Reading the small books of the bible (Ruth, Ezra, Nehemiah...Zechariah, Malachi, etc.) Helped me commit to reading Gods word daily. I finished the NT, now restarting the OT again. Im currently upto Leviticus chapter 1. I've/He has given me "discipline" to read 10 chapters daily, in order (usually before I start my day) cause He is so good I just want to keep reading. Sometimes I read one/ a few chapters in the morning, and the rest whenever I have time throughout the day or before I sleep. Daily, I pray in the morning, night and throughout the day, whenever the feeling hits me. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit is always on my mind and I Praise Him and speak to Him about everything.

Right now, I am reading a Bible Plan which will allow me to read out the entire Bible in a year, so I am reading a psalm, a chapter or two from the old and New Testament every day. I will be praying every day. I have an Evangelist which I follow, who sends me a devotion every day. He prays for me and with me. I look forward to this every morning. so, this is how the first part of my day goes.

Brother David Im alrighty in the book of Genesis chapter 21 in men’s bible study and will finish it. I pray on mondays with the men and elders at my church at 6:15pm until 7pm before jumping into the word and study book. I myself pray, study and worship alone throughout the weekdays in my car at a cemetery (it’s quiet and peaceful there) around 2 or 3pm until nearly 6:30pm. Jesus love you man.
