The Habsburg Dynasty - Maria Antonia Of Austria - Exacted Revenge On Her Unfaithful Husband: Maria Antonia Theresa of Austria, Archduchess of Austria, and member of the Habsbury Dynasty, was born on 18 January 1669 in the Hofburg Palace in Vienna and died there on 24 December 1692. She was a daughter of Leopold I of the Holy Roman Empire and Margaret Theresa of Austria. Maria Antonia was the first wife of Maximilian-Emmanuel of Bavaria and the mother of Joseph-Ferdinand of Bavaria.

I was recently studying about Empress Marguerita Theresa and Emperor Leopold's marriages. Today, I was blessed with this video about their daughter. Never mess with a Habsburg. I can understand how gut-wrenchingly disappointed Maria Antonia must have been with her marriage since she would have witnessed how happy all three of her father's marriages were. It's interesting how her family was involved in not just the War of Spanish Succession after her son's death but also the War of Austrian Succession when her brother, Joseph's daughters and their husbands would try to lay their claim on the Habsburg domains. Rani does not roll in fresh litter, but she does go and pee in it immediately after I've cleaned her litter box. It apparently must have her scent. The weather here is great too, and I'm sunburnt ! I hope you're doing well, give purrs and kisses to Benjamin from Rani and I !

The heart (and entrails) were often buried at another site, so prayers would be said on behalf of the deceased at the other location as well. The more time prayers were said for the deceased, the less time they had to spend in purgatory.
