Social media influencer Hushpuppi has millions of followers on Instagram, expensive tastes and a luxury lifestyle - but he's laundering cash for the hackers. His paymasters? The dark web fraudster, Big Boss, and the Lazarus Group cyber criminals, with alleged links to North Korea. Law enforcement is closing in.
The hackers are back. In fact, the cyber criminals never went away. The Lazarus Heist Season 2 tells the story of the theft of billions of dollars around the globe. Investigators say a secretive, elite North Korean hacking ring is responsible. Nicknamed the Lazarus Group, it’s claimed they are becoming more ambitious, more audacious and more successful. North Korea says it has nothing to do with these cybercrimes, saying the United States is making these allegations to try and tarnish its image.
The Lazarus Heist podcast is presented by cybercrime investigative journalist Geoff White and veteran foreign correspondent and renowned North Korea expert Jean Lee.

Um, if you're talking about the male voices at the beginning, those are pretty standard Nigerian accents - inflections differ by ethnic group and what part of the country a person grew up in. There's no one 'African' accent, and the ones represented here are actually way more accurate than the ones on TV. Also, the ones later in the video are the actual voices of the people involved. That's exactly how they sound.
