Tons of soul and talent. When they broke into the second song I started choking up. Their dad meant so much to me as a bass player. That Haden family is a gift. And that band is class🎖🎖💪

Yay, someone GRATEFUL for the female persuasion. Not an icky opinionated narcissist. Bring it! p.s. apparently Tanya had a beautiful, popular song written for her - how's that for 'ugly'? So, on behalf of 'ugly' women everywhere, I salute you City Boy, and hope that the Playboy magazine you w*nked over tonight will keep you warm in bed. Oh, and how's that successful singing/instrumental career going? DUFUS

The purity of the melding of sibling's harmonies can prove magic - and these exceed all expectations. The back up musicians do a wonderful job of keeping it simple so as to compliment the singers - the whole is even more wonderful than the parts. Thanks.

I was going to say: " 0:48 You know, for some reason I don't think this was done in one take." But then I found other people had already gathered all the joy from it years ago.
@TheDoctor7724 күн бұрын
I assumed she hit a clunker in the first part of her solo and it was easier to do an edit that start over. I've been in that situation. But, I've also taken chunks out of videos and audio files and done a passable job lining the edit up with a consistent beat. This is wild.

I just love these concerts, i'm very thankful to npr for these videos. But i wonder what mistake Petra did at 2:30 because you can see from her face that she was not happy, i didn't hear anything special. Edit: Now i hear it, some bouncing bow accident. Important to violin player, maybe trivial to audience.

They should understand better than anyone that the little imperfections make it magic. Otherwise we may as well listen to Jason Aldean
@pihakamera948610 жыл бұрын
habitualmasticator That is true, i also bought their album and i have to say that i like more these NPR versions, and one reason why is because studio versions are so clean and perfect, too perfect if i may say. I also like Petra's voice very much and her voice is more audible here than on the studio versions.
