1888? My grandad was 1 year old. Still can't believe I actually knew someone from that far back. I used to get compliments about my hair when I was young. It's not as shiny and silky now. I'll need a fountain of youth pill to hear those compliments again. But I'll bet you continually hear compliments regarding EVERYTHING about you. You are such a wonderfully well-formed woman. If I had a time machine, I would love to travel with you. That was a great movie by the way "The Time Machine" from 1960. Based on the H.G. Wells book. I just looked up when the first commercial public hair salons opened since I was curious and it actually was 1888! I always appreciated the small details but now knowing that the detail extends to even the minute historical information being accurate, I’m awestruck!

Oh my goodness. Watching this is similar to a movie scene with careful details and foley effects to immerse the viewer in the atmosphere. It's very well done! It's the kind of thing you remember when you think about your favorite movies or shows. Maybe you never even noticed until someone recreated it. ASMR is fascinating for its varying branches and types in how people have used it. But this is one of my favorite things to see come out of its growth. Awesome job!!!

@cashette foley effects are the post-film added sounds using physical props. Most scenes in movies where you hear things closing, being set down, opened, walking, cooking are all added afterwards. This might be because it's difficult to record sounds without echoes and extra noise, and some sounds don't make the noise that you expect them to. Look into some Foley creation videos. They're really interesting to watch!
