Thanks for the History Lesson . I don't collect half dollars . I had a few that I stored in a pill bottle . It was a tight fit . Yesterday I had to cut open the bottle to get them out .

Nice overview of the half dollars. A couple of minor points: 1) The values you provide for the 1836-1837 half really only apply to the 1836 issue. The 1837 is very affordable in comparison, with circulated examples available for $50-$100. Instead, it sounds like you said the 1837 was minted in the millions, but the value is still $1k for very circulated examples. 2) You didn't make any mention of the numerous commemorative half dollars issued since 1892. While one can't be expected to cover all of the commemorative designs in this video, it's worth mentioning their existence and differentiating between classic commemoratives and modern commemoratives... since the average collector will run across them at some point if they get into collecting half dollars. As I said, these are minor points. Overall, I think it's a nice video. Half dollars are definitely one of the most enjoyable coins to collect. I hope you also plan on making a video covering odd denominations of coins, such as 2 cent, 3 cent, and 20 cent coins. Also, since you didn't cover half cents or half dimes, you could make an all encompassing video to cover these "extinct" denominations (even if the the half dime is technically same denomination as today's "nickel"). As these coins are going to less familiar to newer or younger collectors, there is a great opportunity to introduce them via one of your videos!

Good point! I've actually planned on doing just that... a complete 'Weird Denomination' video. I think it woudl be really interesting. anda great way to cover the coinage.

I got a box of half dollars and 5 rolls were just unc draped bust small eagle. Also 10 rolls were unc flowing hair halves, 1797. Then the rest of the box was just unc barbers. Overall, I was disappointed with the box as I didn’t get as much silver as I usually do and just a bunch of trash. Halves are tough, I guess. Better luck next time eh

is there a name for the eagle design on the back from 1807 to 1891? it's one of the coolest coin designs ever in my opinion, and just think how long it lasted, from Thomas Jeffersons presidency to Benjamin Harrisons!

I just want to let you know that in your world coin bag videos you keep referring to the Yugoslav decimal coins as "napa", when it's pronounced "para". You literally have it written on the coin itself, 2 times in kirilic and 2 times in latin. Yugoslav money was called "dinar" (динар), while пара/para is the decimal.
