This movie is nothing like I imagined it would be. It is so beautiful and so real,it makes you feel all kinds of emotions which I haven't felt in a long long time. Netflix did not disappoint with this one.

Like what Ellie mentioned, love is “messy”. I felt that in the very end, Paul realized he’s actually into Ellie, the train scene proves it all. As for Ellie, she was definitely touched by Paul, but at the same time, Aster will always be her other half. In conclusion, it’s messy :)

There was room ample room for that friendship between Paul and Ellie to blossom and develop and be admirable and deep despite her preferences but be a solid friendship nonetheless - a friendship between opposite sexes. Like a "My Best Friends Wedding" type of friendship...but they just killed it, built it up and extinguished it rather swiftly. The final act was rather disappointing.
