YEEEESSSS Let's goooooooo!!! I feel ya guys. Tsukishima's character development was one of my faves and someone I relate to. You love to see him finally get that passion for the game. Huhu. And he's so freaking smart. The way his brain works just observing the players and the game just so he came come up with a strategy. Ugh proud!

This is my number 1 favorite episode of all of Haikyuu! How do you build up a character? You subtlety point out their flaws and let the viewer know it, than deliver a long awaited moment for everyone. 3 seasons to see Tsukki finally get into it!

If you didnt already know, The Hi in Hinata has the kanji for the sun. Similarly tsuki has the kanji for moon. Thats why the episode is named like this.

Ahhh the chills, maybe someone in patreon say it to you already but in voice recording of this episode, tsukki VA never cheered at all so in this episode he finally put all of the emotion. In haikyuu radio show, even the VA thinking how tsukishima like the emotion thingy will scream in this episode.

So 2 things that are normally missed/misinterpretated. 1) Tsukki's flashback is not him lacking confidence, he is just explaining the truth. Ushijima is one is the top three eeong spikers in the country, he has been to nationals multiple times and is on the national under 20 team. Tsukki still doesn't know if he likes volleyball and only recently began trying. It would be ridiculous, to say the least, for him to think he could beat Ushijima. 2) The set that lead to the block. Kageyama explaims but it gets missed often. Due to a buod up of stress from consistent blocking, the setter hurried his set AND set hime close to the net, so Ushijima had to rush his approach and couldn't hit over the block as usual.

It's perfectly fine that you find it difficult to pronounce Tsukki or Tsukishima (almost all reactors have a hard time), but I wish you could've at least spelled his nickname correctly in your thumbnail. I always feel sorry for him, not having even his nickname spelled correctly by reactors & commentors (even by those who say he's their fav chara in those very comments) alike.

100%, it’s pretty disappointing. These guys watch like 8 anime at the same time so it seems like they just kind of put on the show they watch that day and manufacture enough energy to make it to the KZbin cut. They’ve started to only watch them with audio in one ear too, way too casual. Must be a nice life to make money like this. They’re genuine here and there at least, it’s just a huge fucking bummer they were more fake for one of the biggest moments in the series
