チンパンジーは例外ですが、ゴリラもオランウータンも発情期以外は鬱陶しい存在なんでしょうね。仲が良い例外カップルも存在しますが、そういう立場なんでしょうね。😢 特に動物園では、野生と違いメスが少ないので誰かが発情している状況というのがないですから欲求不満になるのかも。

@@marieldeguzman6193 Yes in a video says, there is a fight in family few month ago and after that family stay away from father Haoko So he is alone in enclosure and family stay inside. 6:30- but I asked channel owner “great ape zoo” that he may be scared of skull of Gorilla?! He is looking through glass again and again. And she answered that skull was always there and it seems he is watching not skull but family monitoring is reflect to glass and he sees gorillas there. And he display to that gorilla reflection. In my opinion, gorillas is not scared of reflection gorilla in a monitor(TV Screen), it is more likely skull. We do not know the answer, and someone says Haoko family is okay now and Haoko is not alone now😀🦍💖

What am I missing here? The subtitles say he got into a fight with the family and they have been inside since the fight but the comments keep referring to the skulls across from their enclosure. The way he keeps looking at the skulls I do think the zookeepers should remove them from their sight and it’s incredibly insensitive to put them directly across from their enclosure if those are gorilla skulls. Either way, I’m very confused as to why zookeepers haven’t noticed the separation in the group...If you’re going to open a facility that houses any animals then it’s your responsibility to take care of them. If the facility is incapable of taking care of them properly then allow the family to go to a sanctuary that can take care of them.

I think when there is only one silverback and several females that cooperate the females have the power. It is nothing the staff can do except consider changing dynamics by moving someone and that it several year process because of breeding genetics. I think he was at window because he was waiting for visitors.

​@@NaomiCurtisyou know that is how gorillas live in the wild. One silverback with multiple females. The females don't have a y power at all. This is normal for groups to have a squabble and they will avoid the silverback for a while. Of course haoko is very aggressive and he bites one of them at least once a week, so they probably don't trust him.

This can affect their Psychological behavior it can affect their social lives as well.......I can see that Haoko's felt the Threat that's why he did the chest beating....He don't feel comfortable....this can cause harm to his Psychological health Please this is not funny...it doesn't entertainingly at all....so sad to see this brave silverback to have that fear in his eyes and he can't even do anything to prove that he is there to fight and won't draw back....

Poor traumatized gorilla. He's all alone and have no idea where the other ones are. In the wild the other gorillas can't hide somewhere he can't get to, so this is just extra unnatural.

Yeah it really seems like it's the skulls. He is ignoring everything else and just staring at them, then walking away for a little bit, then coming back to check if they are still there. He is ignoring EVERYTHING except that direction and is clearly worried about something. I am guessing he keeps walking back and forth between his family and the 'threat'.

Yes, it's the skulls, the zoo needs to move them if they want things to go back to normal. He is trying all he knows to run the threatening skulls off, I'm not a fan of them myself. Him and his brother are serious about protecting their family. Great silverback males from Kibali.

I think he's looking for the visitors because that is the time that they usually started coming in and he's looking and I think he's bored look at his arm posture but you know again we don't think like them necessarily. but the skulls had been there all along so I don't see why that would be the issue at this point.

I have seen this before. Silverbacks do not like skulls. At another zoo, a silverback ran up to a child that was holding up a pamphlet that looked like a skull. He roared and attacked a window. Clearly Haoko is terrified of those two spooky skulls. This could even be why the others are not coming out of the room--he may not let them. It's the same way his younger brother Shabani acted when they noticed Ryu chimpanzee males harrassment of his family. They are the protectors and he will make them do as he says to protect them, it's the gorilla way. Obviously Haoko never noticed the skulls and now is in protection mode, to fight and find a solution. He looks up and down hits the walls, charges and the threat isn't leaving. The zoo could really use this video as a powerful teaching tool to other zoos. Kibali raised strong males, he taught them to love and protect, they are perfect examples of silverbacks.

The early video's show him guarding his family and went to check outthe situation several times from the ground and up on the tower. There is video where Shabani has his family sitting at the wall, I thinkthe women got tired of it and Nene said "Im going sunbathing, you keep watching" lol. I love the Ryu family, they aren't as smart as they think they are, but all they have is sand. Poor Riki will be just like Ryu, I believe he will be bigger than Ryu, hopefully not as naughty. Love all of these primates.

ハオコが不安がってるを見て喜んでるわけではないと思いますよ。パフォーマンス、サービスとしてやってくれてるのかな？と思ってた人もいると思います。実際に動物の中では喜んでくれている声を理解している動物もいます。それにその日だけ見に来た人はゴリラに何が起こってるか理解してないでしょう。そこの部分だけを切り取って盛り上ってる人間は最低だみたいに言うのは・・・

Two things are happening here. 1. There are two skulls on display in the gorilla exhibit 6:37. Gorillas are extremely smart and perceptive having 98.6% of the same DNA as humans. Only 1.4% separates them from us. While the display was for educational purposes, it maybe wasn't a good idea to be in plain view for a silverback to see. Therefore, I'd submit that was Haoko's MAIN reason for displaying. He is already upset the family is 😠 towards him (I'll address that in a minute). Then he comes outside and sees the skulls and is like, 4:30, 6:30 😳 "what the heck! This definitely doesn't sit well with me. Skulls = death. Skulls hung on display, well I definitely perceive this as a threat, and one I need to be concerned about." Bless his heart. He probably thought poachers were nearby. He's a silverback. I mean his reaction 8:05 was definitely appropriate. 2. Haoko seemed to have gotten on the lovely 🌸 lady wives' nerves, and the entire troops nerves again. Here is a perfect example of how he manages to do this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hGLUq5asat6GpJY So a temporary anti Haoko wife/troop strike campaign was going on with the entire troop staying indoors 16:00 🤭. Well Haoko can be a bit forward and pushy annoying the heck out of the lovely wives sometimes, but hey he means well, and that's just Haoko's personality. This was about a year ago. They've since made up and are getting along well 👍.

Just because they are keeping their distance from haoko, doesn't mean that the group has collapsed. They are used to this, haoko fights with someone in the family at least once a week. If they were in the wild the whole family would probably leave him for another silverback.

Maybe he didn't know how they got them in that box so small, giving them TV to see would probably solve this problem. There is a silverback that likes for customers to show him their phones with videos of him and other gorillas, so it is obvious they are smart enough to see what it is after a while.

Something bad must have happened where the females do not want to be with him anymore. I know he can be a pain and he does bite rough at times, but for them to not want to even go outside anymore, it must have been pretty bad. I hope it all works out. The little one is probably confused, but at the end of the day he is going to be with mom :)

There should be a sign stating that, unless if there is and just not reading that.. Smh And then, that is so disrespectful for them to put skulls for them to see outside of the enclosure looking right at them. How would they like if they were locked in an enclosure and had human skulls right outside of their window. I don't really know what happened here. Some say he had a fight with the females while others say they were moved so the area could b repaired. These animals are not chess pieces to b moved around with out preparing them. Haoko is so unhappy and confused. It's like he is trying to figure it all out.

なるほど、強化ガラスには映らないでしょうが、骸骨のあるディスプレイのガラスなら見えるかもしれませんね。 もしそうなら可能性は高いと思います。モモコたちかどうかを区別できるほど見えるかどうかわかりませんが、ゴリラがいることが分かれば、 家族を襲う危険なゴリラと認識するのは当然でしょう。ディスプレイは、家族を守るため、映像のゴリラを追い払うためと考えれば理にかなっています。そうなればハオコのストレスは強いですね。 The image on the monitor does not appear on the tempered glass, but it may be on the glass of the skeletonized display. Perhaps Haoko can't understand whether the images on the glass are Momoko. However, I think Haoko, if she can see the gorilla in the video, recognizes it as a dangerous gorilla that attacks her family. Haoko's display makes sense to protect the family and drive away the gorillas in the video. If so, I think Haoko's stress is strong.

12時45分の予約枠をとりましたが、ごりらさん達はいますか？（ハオコさん心配です）昼食とかの時間で、いない時間ってありますか？

通常は、11：30～13：15くらいまで室内の様子をモニターで見るだけです。そのあと飼育員が放飼場に食べ物を配置してハオコ達が出てきます。 15：00くらいには、帰ると思ったほうがいいです。 ただ、9日にゴリラたちが第一から第二放飼場に引っ越したそうなので、今の状況はまったく分かりません。 （ゴリラたちは、先日元気になったとは聞きましたが・・・）私も来週予約が取れました。

@@GreatApesZoo 　見ないとなんか心配ですねぇ。私は最近ゴリラファンになりました。（KZbinを通してだけですが）ハオコさん、表現が不器用なのかなぁ？でも男子って本来は人間も不器用に思います。上野は女子軍、強そうですもんね。リキくんもママのおっぱいまだほしいみたいだし、ママにそっぽむかれてはこまるのかなぁ～って思います。ありがとうございます。

Sadder that the wild populations are endangered. Their habitats being destroyed, people EATING them as ''bush meat'' and disgusting people killing adults for trinkets for disgusting people to display in their homes and taking the young gorillas for pets. One day the only gorillas left will be in zoos,so is it better to just let the species die out?

Please educate yourself on why they came to be in a zoo before you make comments like this one. It is okay to not understand because you feel compassion for the species and that is a good thing. Humans are the reason their species is declining. Their habitats are destroyed for palm oils and they are killed off for bush meat. They are rescued and zoos manage the species to increase their numbers. Unfortunately there are not enough sanctuaries to catch and release. And those born in zoos would not survive in the wild unless released in a protected sanctuary. They are endangered. We need to do what we can to save them. I would prefer to see them in their natural habitat but humans are preventing that. It’s a catch 22. 😊

Something is clearly inking this majestic gorilla...his fam is full of huge healthy gorillas,even the females are unreal size ...not sure what skulls the comments are referring to n maybe also alittle more privacy i love seeing these guys but can u imagine if ppl were constantly watching us..not sure how id feel,in any respect tho this fam is beautiful

骸骨はずっとありますし、こんなハオコは見たことないのでどうでしょう。私自身は骸骨をズームしたのは、ただカメラに映ったからで意味はないです。喧嘩なんてすぐに収まるのに、なんででしょうか？2か月前は寒くはなかったですから寒さのせいとも思えません。
