I am in the village of Pu Luong, surrounded by lush rice fields in northern Vietnam. This is where the Thai tribe, the third largest ethnic group in the country, lives. I wake up in the morning and visit the Thai ethnic market, which is only set up on Sundays, first thing. Most of the vendors are women of the black thai tribe. They wear their own style of clothing and speak their own language. Everyone I meet is smiling and welcoming. These are the happiest people I have ever seen. While visiting the market, I check out some unique foods and meet Black Thai women. Then I hit the road again to see the villages they live in. The landscapes I encountered sum up the happiness and stress-free life here. Enjoy!
