I love watching your videos of rural Ukrainian life and often think that in the west we have made our lives far to complicated and lost sight of true values of life. loving nature and leading a more simplistic life on the land and being able to be nearly self sufficient is an art that is now unfortunately mostly forgotten. Preserving and canning foodstuff in cellars for overwinter all ended when the big supermarkets arrived. Where seasonal fruit and veg used to be looked on as something different and a treat, now everything is available even if imported.

I live alone on a mountain by a beautiful lake I have all the wild animals in the forest in the lake. I always have a garden make all my food from scratch. I really enjoy your videos. The lady of the house is so loving to the animals, happy, singing I love her pleasant personality. The scenery is so beautiful in the country, my kind of living. MY MOTHER FROM THE EUKRAINE. SHE LOVED WHERE SHE LIVED. But the amount of work she had to do as a young girl she didnt like. She had to cook for the family plus look after her sisters. And work in her families orchard picking pears and apples. She also spin wool and had to use the old loom to weave the families rugs.And when WW 2 broke out the germans came to the family farm and took her away from there to germany to work on their farm and she never saw her family ever again because the germans used fear tactics that if she tried to go back home they would kill her and her family if they would do this I dont know

What are you talking about? It's the same house, the same stove, the same yard. And btw, they have several structures on their property, and one of them is a lot nicer and bigger house than this one. I guess they rent it out to tourists, this is a very popular business in the Carpathians. These mountains is a resort place for a lot of ppl, starting from posh 5* hotels and resorts to small B&Bs in small villages.
