Your food buffs follow you into the trials so I always go with 2 bonus stamina wheels and full bonus hearts plus 30 minutes of attack+3 which you can get cooking 4 bananas and a dragon horn. Also use bombs alot, especially to knock non lizard enemies into water, just be careful not to hit yourself

Tips for RT to help him beat the trial of the sword: 1) You can set you sheikah(?) sensor to look for treasure chests to find them quicker 2) Effects of dishes you ate before entering the trial still work when you start it ( if you eat a hearty meal the yellow hearts will stay when you start the trial same with defence boosts) 3) destroy wooden crates with wepons not bombs( the food will scatter everywhere) 4) use bombs to destroy small trees because they can drop acorns (extra health) 5)theres a fairy in every floor with the cooking pot so be sure to crouch the second you get teleported (then it surely wont fly away) 6) take it slow :) Hope this helped. Now you can eat a hearty meal to max your health instead of compleating all the shrines! This also works with stamina wheels so you can get extra yellow ones. Getting a 30min defense boost is also really helpful. ~~Stay safe everybody

@@acamera367 yeah, floor 10 with the silver lizalfos is literally the hardest floor in the entire trial. It's harder than anything in the middle or final trials, easily. The best way to beat it is to run away immediately, then climb up, sneak over to one of them, and then stun lock a single lizalfos (making sure not to awaken any others) and kill them with your best two handed heavy weapon and thunder rod. Rinse and repeat.

Zepsi Cubed has still you should not get hit once by then since lizafos don’t get any new attacks in master mode. By the time you are doing master mode trial of sword every normal enemy with no new attacks you should be able to reliably parry or flurry rush every attack they have. Guardians are the only enemy with new attacks and a good shot with a bow means they shouldn’t attack you once to begin with. Heck you should be able to semi reliably parry/ flurry rush field bosses by that point. Except if instead of actually dealing with talos attacks you just blew up their arms ( still an excellent way to avoid damage)

This on master mode is quite tense. I remember how I prepared for this, full hearts, a 30 minute duration max attack buff (it remains after you enter), and spamming bombs like no tomorrow. I got to the hinox boss of the first part, walked on his hand so he puts me on the belly, glitched and fell through the hinox itself, it stood up, I died. ... I never completed this on master mode.

10:00 Shoutout to having 52 Shrines and Koroks at the same time The Trial of the Sword is frankly way too ridiculously hard. Having said that though, and despite how terrible I am at combat in games, I actually did fairly well. My first attempt I just bailed halfway through 'cause I got bored. My second I got all the way to the final boss of the Beginner trials and died. For my third attempt I decided "screw it" and waited 'till I'd literally done everything else in the game. Then I looked up a guide on the recommended way to beat all three. With that guide I managed to clear all three trials in one day, first attempt (well first attempt for Middle and Final since I'd already tried Beginners, but you get what I mean.) Not to say it was smooth sailing, even with a guide. The highlight for me was there is this one room in the Final Trials where there are a bunch of turret Guardians firing lasers at you and you have to perfect parry with your shield to deflect them back. I fumbled every single laser deflect and broke all of my shields. I ended up running around dodging all of their laser blasts and loosing arrows whenever I saw an opening and slowly but surely managed to whittle them down, one-by-one. That was simultaneously my biggest fuckup and sickest comeback I've ever had playing a videogame.

A few tips for the trials (RT will probably never read this, but maybe someone else might find it useful) 1. Bombs are your biggest friend. Use them whenever you have the chance. For example, sneakily climb on trees to airstrike unknowing bokoblins. Also, they are the easiest way to deal with Keese, slow enemies, weaker Bokoblins and Lizalfos and any sort of slime. They are also great for these skull caves. Just climb up it without being found and drop bombs through the nose hole until everyone stops moving. 2. You keep stats and potion effects from before you enter the trial. So eating a hearty fruit simmer made from 5 hearty durians, for example, will allow you to start the trial with a lot more hearts. 3. Arrows are a blessing. A lot of enemies can be quickly taken out with headshots. If you can avoid damage with a few arrows, use them and stop hoarding. 4. Never leave a room without checking for chests in elevated locations, underwater or hidden in the ice. Scanning everything with Magnesis is a good trick. 5. Especially in the third trial, keep a lookout for chests. There are 9 ancient arrows to get. I'd suggest holding onto them as they are quite useful against flying guardians, turrets and especially the lynel in the last room. 6. Hold onto elemental weapons and arrows in the third trial. They'll save your life. Not to mention they make killing most enemies awfully easy. 7. Make sure to always catch every fairy and fish in the break rooms. Hearty food should probably be cooked alone unless you value extra hearts over full restoration. 8. Don't stop moving in the first half of the second trial. Trust me you will regret it. 9. Try to provoke enemies one by one if you can. Luring them away for a 1v1 is pretty much always your best bet.

Once you get the hang of it (or use a guide), these trials are doable. Just remember-you can still use your slate runes. So, bombs away whenever possible. Seriously, you can clear a ton of these trials by finding a safe spot and bombing the crap out them. The first trial was the most challenging for me. I don't even know how many attempts it took, but I ditched it for awhile and completed all the shrines and other quests before swinging back to it. After that I finished the second trial set in one attempt. On the third trials I managed to get to the very last floor on my first attempt before dying. I'm not even good at this game, there's a learning curve for these trials.

So in my experience, the Beginning Floors are the hardest. You should go in with full temporary hearts and a half hour of attack or defense boost three. You get the half hour long effect by cooking a dish with 4 of the appropriate items and a Dragon Horn. An easy place to farm Dragon parts is Lake Floria. Rest until morning at the stable, then run to the middle of the bridge. By the time you get there a dragon should be coming over the falls to the north.

Is this a joke? The beaver race in MM is barely difficult, and not even the hardest challenge in MM. Hell, it's not even the hardest swimming challenge in MM, since the Zora moon trial is harder. Trial of the Sword on Master Mode is on a completely different level to the beaver race. Some floors, most notably Beginning Trials Floor 10, require playing almost perfectly to win, and the smallest handful of mistakes will end your run. Swimming through rings for two minutes is nowhere near comparable.

You know what's funny about this? You went into the Trial of the Sword and had to harvest wood to eat so you could survive. Then you gave up on that, and went to do the Tarrey Town quest... which is 80% harvesting large quantities of wood to build the houses with. (I think the whole quest takes something like 150 wood.) You can't escape the wood. (Also, what the heck happened to Fyson? I guess nobody cares about him.)

If ur doing this again I have tips: U can cook up defense 3 food for 30 minutes with a dragon part and some iron shrooms, trade your stamina for hearts to have more health, max your health using bonus health food before touching the sword. All these things last when you go in. It's hard in master mode, good luck. PS: Enemies on archer towers take 4 times arrow headshot damage so shoot them.

The room with 2 silver Lizalfos is the biggest piss take ever. You dont have the ability to deal enough damage, especially since when they are in water it’s basically a free health Regen for them.
