As someone who just started a gaming community where it's the community that delivers the hardware and gets integrated in our hosting platform, running our own server, I've been trying to call out for some sort of response for about a month now. just have a look in the server-hosting channel. I'm frustrated and angry over their lack of management of the community and the lack of information. I was promised about a week ago that they would document server variables like they have done RCON, by asking through amaroks stream, but nothing happens. I'm at the point that if they don't care about the community, why should we? So I'm just helping the bare minimum. If I can answer some question with a short answer i will, but I've stopped anything that takes time away from my day, to help out, because I've had enough

I have yet to see the official servers crash (This is the main reason I play them over community servers most days) Occasionally there is this glitch that will kick you from the game minutes after joining, but that has more to do with your internet connection and overall computer latency than the servers themselves so it's not really an issue for most players, and even for players who do experience it, it has become much less common since the introduction of the "entry que" for players when a server is full. You asked for confirmation, here it is. Honestly since I've only ever played the officials since evrima came out because evrima is still an open beta and in my mind I expected that on the officalls, when a bug popped up there would be a higher chance of a dev or admin logging on to fix it on the official servers than community ones. because of this I had no idea this was a problem or that so many people we're experiencing so much negativity and hate for something they simply cannot control, I'm glad you covered this issue at the start of the video.

We live in a "population: me" society. We've gotten so spoiled rotten, we expect things to be handed to us immediately and have people fix things and have people bark at our every beck and call. It's as sad as it is maddening. I don't play the game but I've seen your Subnautica videos which just refuels my desire to replay them and to add mods to make things even better. Hope your concerns are heard Anth, can be extremely tough having to deal with issues that you have no control over. From a programmer/developer point of view, I’d like to share that UE5 in general has been presenting many new problems that are making fixes and working difficult, especially for multiplayer. One of the reasons server stability was such an issue at 125 players before was because of that and so they kept it at 100. Hopeful Unreal Engine (or Filipe since he’s been doing some remarkable things) addresses the issue and releases a patch.

Its unfortunate our staff team is being harassed for somethin we cannot control, we are people too and while i am not bothered by it (having 7 years in fast food) some people have been more affected by it. Hopefully the devs will put more effort into fixing our crashes

Troodons mimic was talked about before, but it wasn’t enough of an issue not to push Troodon out when it was otherwise ready. Troodon is in a pretty good spot with its current mechanic, so they may save the mimic idea for something else.

I have been playing the Isle Legacy for around 7 years. I recently moved to Evrima to try it out. I admit, getting it working properly has been frustrating. However, if there is an issue with the game get in contact with the people who develop the game or the staff specific to help you with that.. Not someone who cant fix an issue. I always wanted to play with you, even back in the days of the old Isle. Sadly our time zones mean I have to be awake at ridiculous times at night, however I hope you continue to play. Dont let people like this bring you down. ^^

I just bought the game a few days ago because of your videos and the sale, so glad I did, loving every minute of it. Plenty of bugs, server crashes and even lost my deino I got to like 35 percent...not very far but farthest I've got. Everytime I play Deino another Deino eats me. I've experienced this on the official and unofficial servers but the unofficial seem to crash more often and when they do they stay down for a while, or just don't show up on the serrver list for a while Idk. The official servers are constantly full, though... I'm still having fun. Also I found the troodon to be the easiest to keep alive, nothing can even see me to kill me, and I ran up to big dinos calling at them and they would just ignore me lol

I only just recently started watching your videos, and even more recently started playing on Isla Nycta after it was mentioned in a video. So far they are my preferred servers as the players just seem to be much friendlier than on the officials, even to other species which is quite nice. I'm really sorry that you are getting so much hate for the server issues, that is unfair. As annoying as a crash can be, I usually end up laughing at any dinos nearby as they often keep doing what they were doing when it crashed. I've seen deinos start flying, dinos walk off cliffs, and my beipi group-mate slowly fly-swim off into the stars XD. I hope the mean comments of others doesn't end in the death of your servers, it would be a sad day if that happened. Thank you!

Honestly despite all the server issues I still enjoy playing the isle and I actually bought the game because of you. I've owned the game for just about 3 weeks and I already have over a 100 hours clocked in and most of it is on your servers. Edit: I play on Na officials and while they crash less often than community servers they still do crash.

I haven’t played for about three year and I thought this game was truly dead, and to see Evrima I’m actually glad. Yes, it might not be great but at least it’s moving forward. ​​@@CookieTowerDefence Maybe you should take a look at how long Star Citizen is in alpha and their roadmap. The beta time of the Isle and their plans is nothing against that. Beta is exactly that: not a finished product. It exists to make sure bugs are being ironed out and everything being improved. It's their decision how long they'll stick to the Beta status until they deem their game ready for release, not the players. Being so impatient about a game in Beta is a waste of time when you can just move on to other games

The isle has been in beta for 8 years, they started over from scratch at least once and have less dinos than they did several years ago. I have moved on because they are never going to finish it. The game runs terribly still, is extremely buggy and is updated maybe once or twice a year. A player that bought the game in their early 20s is now almost 30 and still waiting for a full release. @@46cm_

Have been playing on your server for a week now and yes it crashes a few times, however your admins are on point and try to get the servers back up. I can’t complain as well as I know how annoying it can get when the server crashes. But I don’t think we can blame you or your staff. It’s literally the isle devs that coded some issues in the game. Hey Ant, so I was on steam browsing through some recent updates in some games I had and I noticed that on July 14th, Day of Dragons has had a new update! (I think) but they did say that Elementals were either added or being worked on so I was thinking that you could do a video on that topic and kind of talk about what there is and what there will be in the future along with (maybe) some gameplay introducing us to them. Maybe you can also try and talk with the Devs to try out some new dragons or see some new stuff?? just for u to know, i'm in france, evrima official EU servers are with many prblms, like craches and ping issues : bad place to beon the map sometimes because of tp while playing a lot at center . Sorry you had to go thro that anth . honestly idk why people complain to server owners of servers made by them when the issues happen due to the gameplay that only the isle devs can fix most of the times while yes some small restarts can help the crash not happen a lot sadly is not always strong to keep stopping crashing or even lag in unofficial servers . sadly leaving those bad mssgs to staff or even the leaders sadly wont solve the issue bc is not something unofficial servers can control . Your server has been doing a good job! and is fun to play in those servers also i feel the lag issue could also be after the huge isle update and alot of people r joining etc 24/7 especially with the new dinos since in other games when there is a huge update even servers kick or crash alot until things calm down . sending lots of support for you anth and the isla nycta staff members
