Town of Salem is a social deduction game similar to Among us and Goose Goose Duck. Among Us/Goose Goose Duck allows you to play the game with up to 4-15 players, Town of Salem allows up to 15 players in a single game.
Like Among Us/Goose Goose Duck, you can be good or evil with factions such as Town, Mafia and Neutrals. Among/Goose Goose Duck us has 2 roles (without mods), town of salem has 33 different characters in the base game. Town of Salem is a great alternative to Among Us/Goose Goose duck if you're looking for another game in the social deduction genre. Psychology carried them to be honest, everyone is assuming there has to be more then one which caused them to lynch more of town. Honestly the Coven really didn't do much work, everyone elses doubts did it for them.

Solo witch played amazingly, too. Even when you figured it out, you were still second-guessing. If they had marked 10 as NA instead of NE, they would have won, but they couldn't have predicted two other Doomsayers for their warning to backfire.

I actually once won on N1 by guessing three random people as coven, and everyone in alive AND dead chat accused me of being in a call with the coven member who Dc’ed.

Something like this happened to me a while back, but in this case, however, they were definitely teaming, as both the doom and the remaining coven tried to push the blame to the random berserker, saying they're the one that actually said the coven roles. Yeah, both the living coven and the doomsayer said the berserker said who the coven were in vc.

I can't tell you how much more I like ToS2 compared to ToS1. I'm glad Pipe got me into this game. I can actually fake claim and not die to invest checking me n1 asking me for roles.

As doomsayer you should still randomly guess N1. The chances of it being successful are slim, but they're better than nothing and you lose nothing by doing so. Usually you just guess 3 random people as Coven and hope they're all actually Coven.

The witch outed himself at the end and PIPE didn't even notice... he spelled Doomsayer "Doomslayer" with an L. Nobody caught it the whole game. At the end he said "Oh yeah the Doomslayer left" with an L therefore outing himself as the witch because he misspells the word "Doomsayer" often

Wait, I did not realize doomsayers have a random chance of nuking coven on day 1, that is hilarious. I still dont know how I feel about this role, on one hand it would be funny, but at the same time feels unfun and something that should not happen even if the chance is really low.

Unless I fucked up somewhere I think it's a 1% chance to blind guess 3 of the coven on night 1 in a 4 coven game. It's 0.2% if it's a 3 coven game. It's so low that you're more hyped that you saw it than pissed that it cost you the game. Besides in a 4 coven game it still doesn't completely wipe coven so there's a chance for an epic comeback while town turns on itself.

A couple nights back I had a game with a berserker, shroud a pirate but no covens. I was going crazy thinking there was coven, everyone had enough of me at the end since I thought it was a coven majority but in reality it was just berserker left

I ran the numbers a while back to get the changes for coven team size, assuming that AA is trully random: 0 ~ 0.4% 1 ~ 3.4% 2 ~ 11% 3 ~ 21% 4 ~ 64% I couldn't be bothered with a formula so I just ran simulations, hence the approximations. It checks out, around 2 thirds of the games have 4 coven while anything less is 1 third.

i got my first ever doom game yesterday! the town was small and almost all TIs and i'm too new to figure out the evils, so i was totally lost the first 3 days. d4 i got pushed by coven but pest emerged, so i was able to deflect (i'm doom find pest!), d5 it was just 2 coven and 2 apoc left, death emerged and got hanged, and then i successfully guessed the two covens and pest, winning it on the very last night together with the pest
