I'm an experienced course designer and I have a better tip for you than "make it easier". Test your courses on lots of difficulties and conditions. If you're used to playing on easier conditions, it's likely you'll make a course that feels challenging for you then ends up being nigh impossible on harder difficulties (or with harder conditions). If you're used to playing on higher difficulties, it's likely that a course you make that's hard for you will be far too easy for people who play with easier settings. Let me put it another way; on the harder difficulties and conditions, something simple like a small section of out-of-bounds or a particularly steep hill is enough to turn any hole into a nightmare. If you're trying to do something more high concept, like island hopping for example, you need to test your course on an easy, middle and hard setting, and then again for high wind. Make sure your course is equally doable for everybody. I know it's a nuisance to keep going in and out of load screens but it'll be better than putting in a load of hard work to make a beautiful course like you have here only to feel like you need to throw your ideas away because "it needs to easier" or "it needs to be shorter". I don't want to see designers with interesting ideas not feeling like they can use them. You should carry on with the kinds of ideas you have on this course, but test them in more diverse conditions, and make small tweaks. I guarantee you there will be small changes you can make that will still allow you to keep your crazy ideas here. I look forward to whatever you make next.
