Great pick with Nmixx’s Dash. I thought it might be Run For Roses but honestly like you said, it could have been a number of their songs. The foot work in Dash alone looks so difficult if you want it to look as smooth as they make it look. Run for Roses is also so difficult to dance and sing. IIRC, Nmixx have ranked themselves which songs of theirs was hardest to perform live (TT wise), with LMLT at 4th then (I think), O.O, Dash then Dice. I'm not sure about the last 3 so someone can correct if they know. Personally if we are looking at non-titles R4R *very* easily takes the cake for being their hardest to perform. From the difficult deep notes to the fastpaced singing and lots of sustained belts with really intense choreo near the end. I think it's honestly a no-contest thing, seeing as they are the most out of breath we have ever seen them yet in their stage practice for R4R. R4R practice solidified for me that they were unstoppable 🤍Highly reccommend watching it for anyone who appreciates talent.

There is a reason girl groups never vocally cover Red Velvet red songs like RBB, Dumb Dumb, and Zimzalabim; they have crazy vocals but also very difficult choreo to match. Even a song like Umpah Umpah is deceptively difficult to cover because you need 3 vocalists capable of carrying out the bouncy choreo for the entire song and still also capable of hitting a high note each. And forget almost anyone else covering Wildside where every member needs to be able to hit repeated high notes lol Really i can only see nmixx being capable to pulling off actual live cover with the original choreos for any of these songs.

For me, one of the most difficult NMIXX songs to perform live has to be "O.O." because of its intricate vocal layers and rapid transitions between different genres. The way it switches from a laid back verse to high energy, fast paced sections requires such breath control and vocal flexibility. The members have to switch between various vocal techniques on the fly, all while keeping their energy up and the performance sharp. Another song I think would be tough to perform live is "DICE". With its complex choreography and high intensity vocals, it demands perfect timing and stamina. The members need to balance both intense dancing and strong vocals, and that's no easy feat. But, knowing NMIXX's vocal and performance skills, I’m confident they can pull it off flawlessly every time.

I’ve seen twice perform I can’t stop me in Berlin last year and yes of course they do use a backtrack but I can assure that almost every one of them tried to deliver their lines as much as possible and you could clearly listen to them singing on top of the track, of course they skipped the adlibs and everything else but it really surprised me how strong of a performance it was, more people should know how well twice sings at their concerts! ❤

You picked Odd Eye well, they themselves said it's the hardest song multiple times. Now the two new tt from the last year might top that (especially Justice with even heavier focus on live vocals), but you can see this confirmed too bc they never perform this song live anymore (alongside others like Chase Me). Also thank you for including them, it's honestly frustrating seeing these videos and the comments swarmed with Insomnia but them not included. I can't even blame most creators bc Dreamcatcher just doesn't seem to exist in the creator's spaces. The amount of analysis videos etc with them in it can probably be counted on one hand. And yes some are toxic but to not even be included in the discourse is...fascinating to say the least for a group going on 8 years and having a settled fanbase. The funny thing is, while the industry wanted to push them down in the past, their songs are now set in a lot of trainee evaluation programs. (Sadly it's not that well known, but multiple idols have talked about it.) I hope that ensures some kind of quality in the future but I'm also sorry for the trainees. Imagine having an important monthly evaluation coming up and they tell you that you have to perform Justice or something😭

In case you do boy groups I SEVERELY recommend most if not all ONEUS' title tracks. The most obvious are LUNA (performed live only a few times in Music Core and Simply Kpop) Bring it On, or No Diggity, but all their songs require good vocal ability and stamina, so every one of them could be at the list. They perform live 90% of the time, with the other 10% being the promotions with LUNA due to the difficulty in the chorus and the strain that the coreo causes

Honestly, I think we should talk about IVE's I AM, the song is really really challenging. The whole chorus has plenty of highnotes. Throughout the whole song, they have to change register smoothly, they need to sing with voice head with ease and Yujin and Liz (The ones that I notice that sing the chorus almost everytime) have all of that and highnotes and pretty complex ad-libs and harmonies. As I dancer I must say that the dance is no very difficult, but Its not easy either, the first verse is pretty chill, but then the entire song is full of changes of level, transitions and energetic moves (like in the chorus, the bridge or the last chorus). But, I agree with the ranking, those song, are pretty hard 💀 (Love your content💕🫶🏻✨️)

I forget where they said it, but I think Red Velvet said the song they hate performing the most is “Rookie”. The choreography is so fast paced and leaves them exhausted and out of breath. And yet they still need to sing in a higher range (not to mention all the adlibs and belts). I also find “Nerdy” by Purple Kiss to be a bit challenging due to the faster BPM and choreography. “Helicopter” by CLC can also be difficult because the song takes a lot of strength and stamina. And if you try hitting Sorn or Seunghee’s hit notes without your breathing being in check, it’s going to be a disaster… For boy groups, I think most songs by SHINee, EXO, NCT (127, Dream, and WayV), and Oneus tend to have plenty of songs each that are difficult. I’d say “Don’t Call Me” by SHINee, “Tempo” by EXO, “Superhuman” by NCT 127, and “Luna” by Oneus would be my nominations. Oh, and it’d be remiss of me not to mention “My Name” by D-Crunch! I’m blanking right now, but I’m sure you could also find some stuff within Monsta X, Up10tion, Cravity, MCND, and Pentagon’s discographies.

I would say Le Serrafim songs are hard to perform live as well, as they have really hard choreo with vocals that might seem easy to sing, but lower notes are very hard to sing while dancing a very hard choreo. Also, See That is definitely harder to perform than Dash, speaking from trying it myself. The choreo is super demanding and you need to move your body A LOT for the dance to look good.

I would like to suggest Into the new world by SNSD and also their other songs. I mean their songs are very vocally especially Into the new world with that choreography. They sang it live in their debut era with the dance is Iconic af.

There's like 10 (at least) songs from Dreamcatcher hard AF; they are a group famous for singing live with almost none of lipsync and ones of the most hardest choreographies of kpop.

if you make a bg version PLEASEEEEE include lupin by dkz…the song is genuinely really hard to sing and the dance is VERY hard (and known for it) yet close enough to every stage was live! and they pulled it off greatly every time the high note was literally in the middle of the dance break and jonghyeong would do it live while doing the dance
