It's always been a feature of his gym videos. Try, fail, try again, fail again, keep trying....get it...or not. He's never pretended to flash everything. Watching him figuring out a difficult boulder & sharing his thought process is one of the things that makes his videos so interesting. I've learned so much just by watching the process

Hi Magnus, absolutely loved the video as always. Can't wait to grab the book! I'm a climbing coach from the UK, and I might have some alternative beta for the Black on the slab that took you a few tries. From the end of the dyno position, bring your left foot to the top of the bottom hold, then move your right foot to the foothold above your right hand. Sucking your hips in, reach over with the right hand (like a cartwheel) and press against the 2nd to last hold. bring your left foot to to stand on the sloper, and using the right hand banana sidepull, rockover to the finish. As we both know, a video never captures what the climb was actually like, as so this could all be rubbish. Love to see it as always though. Enjoy the Holiday!

For me, the most impressive thing during these videos is the endurance of a climber on Magnus level. When I climp I have a steady decline during the session, but it seems like Magnus has no stop! Incredible!
