Sometimes God puts blessings in our lap so we can bless others in return. Good for you for making it out there, for hanging around and talking with Kevin, and just know you getting emotional means you understand how big and important that moment actually was. That’s what makes a man a man. I hope you hugged Romina extra tight when you got home and said an extra prayer brother. This was awesome! I’m proud of you and proud for you. 🙏🏻

Good thing Brandon works online cause that boy wouldn't survive in the Military (or Fire Services, and I'm sure other services are the same). He thinks a little Barrel Banter is rough play? He ain't see nothing! Wait till your brothers (and sisters) raz you about one thing or another. That's how soldiers show love. But heaven help anyone on the outside who brings the smoke cause the beat down is severe. I was glad to see this video Derek. Despite all the sponsors and things that fly your way you still seem grounded and that's good to see!

Genuinely hoping that those guys that were crying about you getting the ZR1 and not another Ford see this and see that brand loyalty means nothing. It's about creating a community, supporting eachother, and forming bonds with guys that will drop what they are doing in their busy lives just to show that they care and make you smile in your final moments of life.

Can’t believe I teared up man 😭 over a car video. Cars can bring good people together. I bought my 1st vette at 40 after a bad divorce/3 kids/etc. I was almost done with this world. Didn’t even want to live anymore. Took a lot to get me out of the dark dark days. That corvette has helped me in ways I never thought possible. It’s almost like you should never sell it because there’s a story that means more than money 💴 and content. We’re all here a short time and we all should enjoy our time. After watching this I might not sell my C6. She was my 1st vette and kinda wanted to upgrade but I might just do more mods to her now and get another one down the road. Great video!

I've known way too many people in situations like this and it IS without a doubt the hardest thing to do! Just one example was a neighbor down our circle had aggressive cancer and she somehow was beating it for like 16 months but you could see how rapidly she declined each month! The last several months she would walk around our circle with her husband very delicately and then not a month later she was being pushed around in a wheelchair - there's not words that describe the thoughts and emotions being a witness to this......... knowing they are going to die in just a very short manner of time, just not sure "which day." And the fact they know they're going to pass and saying a final goodbye is just almost impossible to deal with. Thanks for sharing and being there! 🏁🏁

This brings back some tough memories for myself. In 2006 I was involved in a bad motorcycle accident leaving me paralyzed from the waist down and I had to sell my dream car at the time which was 1987 Buick Grand National because I never thought I’d drive again I cried for a while about it but realizing I was only 23 I knew I had a lot of life left to live. Now I’m 40 and since my accident I’ve owned over 17 cars mainly sports cars and 2 weeks ago picked a 2024 Cadillac Blackwing off the showroom floor. Traded my 2022 M4 for it. I’m truly blessed after my accident I realized life is precious and short.
