Pin Apple Fearing Him does not mean actually being scared or frightened of Him. It's a way of saying respect and love Him so much - that you're afraid of breaking His trust, love and faith. That meaning you do obay, and you do listen to Him in everything you do. And once you get closer to Him, that becomes more and more clear in your life.
@paulchamm53264 жыл бұрын
@Pin Apple Fearing God referes to the fear of hurting the immense love He bestowed upon us through our sin. Sin being not receiving and living His love and for that love
@Ericavilla8854 жыл бұрын
@Pin Apple Fearing means respecting God and the amount of power He has. We should respect and be afraid of Him having the authority to send us to hell. However, he is also a loving God who wants us to spend eternity with Him that's exactly why he sent Jesus to die for us so that we can have a chance to be with Him. If He didn't we would all deserve to go to hell. So, we have to look at all of who He is to have the correct understanding of Him. If we neglect to acknowledge any of His characteristics then we start to follow a false gospel. Not sure if that helped if you have any questions feel free to reach out!

This is the first time I’ve ever commented on a KZbin video. I want to start off by saying that it is so refreshing to hear a KZbinr speak TRUTH. While I grew up in a Christian community that emphasized God’s wrath/hell more than God’s love, I know both are equally true and important. I shutter at the thought of hearing, “Depart from me I never knew you!” Which is why the Bible says make your call & election sure. We must ask God to search our hearts constantly and show us the things that are displeasing to Him and work on us. Refine us unto His image because I want to hear well done! And one way I know and am assured of my salvation is that the mere desire to truly please God can only be as a result of His Holy Spirit within me. On my own I want nothing to do with Him. And that sweet fellowship I now have is because of his extension of grace and salvation to me! Thanks for the reminder and the truth. And God bless you guys for your boldness.

I’m quite sure this was the sign I asked God for. I’ve always known He’s there, He even performed a miracle in my life, which brought me to tears. However, I’ve always struggled with praying and reading the Word. Why? Because when I prayed, most of the times I asked God for something (either someone’s salvation, a dream, etc) and didn’t get it. That’s normal since I literally expected God to do what I wanted and quick. Plus, the longest I prayed for was a week. My heart was not at the right place. God is teaching me that I have to trust Him. On the other hand, reading the Word can also be hard sometimes because I might have trouble understanding why some things happened the way they did. But I have the Internet, I have my dad, I have so many sources to go to for understanding. The most important one being Him. I have been born again, even though I tend to go away from God after a moment of passion for my Saviour. I need to be constant. It’s just sad because everytime I go astray, I feel like I willingly do so. My spirit tells me not to sin, but I willingly sin. No matter how little the sin is. I choose it. Deep down in my heart I know I don’t want to do it, but when you are not with God, these things are expected. Being in His Presence is the most important thing. Truly I tell you, if you’re not praying, if you’re not reading the Word, you are going to believe the lies of the world and you will end up sinning. This is probably too long. I just wanted you guys to know that today I asked God for a sign in order to know He’s here. I asked for discernment as well for many times I’m not sure if I’m making it up or if it’s actually from Yahweh. This video was uploaded two days ago. It should’ve been in my recommended earlier. But no. Today, I opened my phone and something in me told me to open KZbin altough I always go for Instagram. And then “boom” . This was literally the first video on my feed. And it talks exactly about what I’m going hrough. Abba is sending me a message through you Nate and Sutton. Thank you, Father. ✝️💜

Hey Jayla! You will never be capable to be saved, and this is a good news because Jesus died for us when we were sinners. He loved us before we loved Him. Nothing can separate us from the love of God- Romans 8:39. Psalm 139- He knows everything about us❤️ Take time to be in prayer and read the word. Pursue Him and believe in His Word, everything outside the Word is a lie of the Devil. God bless.

Consider the thief on the cross. When Christ was crucified there was a thief hanging there beside him. He did not live a "worthy" life...but as he seen Jesus dying for Him, he had faith in Him. And that's all it took for the thief to be saved. It's not what we do, or how we are, but it's believing in what Jesus did for us, fully placing your faith in Him and His plan of salvation, asking Him to forgive you and save you and truly believe. Hope this encourages you.

This is such a hard pill to swallow but it is the truth I read in my Bible. I've never really heard of this in any church. I started realizing only when I read my Bible. I pray to God to have mercy on me to make me strong till the end. To change me, mold me, help me obey him. I struggle a lot when it comes to sharing the gospel with others. I know God commands us to do so and I want Him to tell me, once he comes back, that I was a good servant and to let me in His Kingdom. Please pray for me to have more strenght and courage to obey our Lord Jesus Christ and to not be ashamed of His name, not afraid of being hated or ridiculed by people for Him. Thank you And thank you for spreading the truth! Jesus will come soon!

Hi guys. Just wanted to let you know I stumbled across one of your videos a few months ago and it's changed how I look at my life and faith. I'm 21 and studying science at college and I used to be an atheist and non-believer. I suddenly realised though that my opinions and beliefs were formed from what was 'popular' around me and I'd never actually thought about it and formed any opinions on my own. Since finding your channel I feel like my eyes have opening and I am beginning to find a relationship with God and with faith. I know I'm not there yet it's the beginning of my journey and I've got a lot of work to do but looking at where I was this time last year to me now I can see how ignorant and blind I was to just follow and not deeply contemplate any of this for myself. @orenfishman65044 жыл бұрын
Kerry Ikechukwu First of all you need to understand that all human beings are sinning and you are not worse than another human being, the second thing you must remember is that Jesus died for your sins, which means there is forgiveness for your sins! And following that understanding, you have to understand that without Jesus and without a real relationship with God, you will live an eternal life of suffering and pain, but to overcome sin you really need to seek this relationship with God, God says that whoever is truly looking seeking this relationship, will find, and so slowly you will see how much you want to dedicate your life to Jesus, to leave sin and to cling to be more pure
@kaileyllewellyn4 жыл бұрын
Kerry champ Jesus died on the cross for all of us he washed away all of our sins and to tell you the truth we all sin. There might be times we sin and not realize it. If you believe in the truth of who God is and you have a relationship with him then that’s all that matters. He is there for you and never turns away from you ever because he loves you. God doesn’t see when we sin all he sees is our hearts and I want you to know that God loves you so much. He is there and he understands what you’re going through and he knows you better than anybody else does. We were all created in his image to live and exist. I know you’re only 14 but don’t lose hope and sight of what’s most important in your life. You’re valuable and you’re so important. I hope things get better for you continue pushing through and don’t give up when things get tough. I hope you have a blessed rest of your week! Wow. This video actually woke me up. I decided to watch this the other night because I was worried for Sutton about the title. Then I realized the message was completely different. I have been a Christian since I was six years old, and was raised in church. I too often take my relationship with Jesus for granted. I haven’t noticed, but I’ve drawn away from my faith since my time in highschool. Then I found this. Something about this video terrified me, then worried me, then guilted me. I was numb! I realized I have completely neglected my relationship with God to the point where I had that split second of worry where I wondered if He would really say he knows me! Crazy. Since watching this I have decided to delve into the word. I’m starting back at the basics and I read the gospel of John in two nights. Now I’m reading through Luke. I’m going to make time to study the word now. I’m going to pray more often. I already feel so excited for the next time I read! Thank you so much. Thank you for waking me up! I needed this, because quarantine and my senior year of highschool has really done something to me. Now I am going to get back to focusing on who is in control and who is missing me. Love the video ❤️

CS Lewis once said “There are only two kinds of people in the end: those who say to God, "Thy will be done," and those to whom God says, in the end, "Thy will be done." All that are in Hell, choose it. Without that self-choice there could be no Hell. No soul that seriously and constantly desires joy will ever miss it. Those who seek find. Those who knock it is opened.”

talya.sindel I can’t speak for any other denomination, but in the Catechism of the Catholic Church it states: ...those, through no fault of their own, do not know Christ and his Church: but who nevertheless seek God with a sincere heart, and, moved by grace, try in their actions to do his will as they know it through the dictates of their conscience-those too may receive eternal salvation. (CCC 847) similarly looking at the Vatican ii document Gaudium Et Spes: “All this holds true not only for Christians, but for all men of good will in whose hearts grace works in an unseen way. For, since Christ died for all men, and since the ultimate vocation of man is in fact one, and divine, we ought to believe that the Holy Spirit in a manner known only to God offers to every man the possibility of being associated with this paschal mystery.” This teaching holds consistent with Jesus’ teaching of those who innocently reject him: “If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin; but as it is they have no excuse for their sin.” (John 15:22). But once a person comes to know the truth, he must embrace it or he will be culpable of rejecting it. In John 9:41, it talks of when Jesus was speaking to the Pharisees who were with him. “Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you are saying, ‘We see,’ so your sin remains.”

My anxiety about being turned away when I so desperately try to live for Him made my OCD terrible to the point I was afraid I didn’t ask Jesus into my life the “right way”. The thing of it is is that it wouldn’t be amazing grace if we had anything to do with it. Through Him I have been able to overcome so much
@marinaisabelle71554 жыл бұрын
Laura Williams I have OCD too. I completely know the feeling and wondering if you asked God into your life “the right way”. OCD tends to cling to the things we care about most which is a sign you really care about your faith. I’ve been working on accepting God’s Grace over my ocd rituals though and I hope you feel the freedom in Christ to do the same!

If salvation depended on us, we could never be sure that we've done enough. If you were saved because you made a decision or commitment in the past, you'll be left wondering "was I sincere enough? Did I do it right?" etc. But the good news is we're not saved by giving our lives to Christ. We're saved because He gave His life for you. You're saved when you believe that your sins are forgiven through Jesus. And that faith is a gift of God, not something you mustered up from within yourself. "So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy." Romans 9:16 ❤❤❤

This is almost exactly what I’ve been feeling lately. It’s such a deep worry that it feels like I’m being swallowed by it and can’t escape and I have no idea how to be sure of my salvation and how to live my life for God and what to cut out of my life and what not to. And it freaks me out so much that I might not truly be saved.

Remember that Jesus doesn't punish you for eternity for a sin you committed in a short lifetime Our Lord is a fair Lord You will be punished of course however he also explains about the 2nd death which is exactly what he means death where you will be lost forever and will not exist So he gives us a choice to live forever and eternity with him or to never exist again Remember why would God want the devil and evil people next to us suffering for eternity it does not make any sense he will put them to death and we will live in peace with no fear and no worry and no sin because they will not exist anymore
@moniquemorales54554 жыл бұрын
@@karinagarcia3702 This is not biblical at all. If there is no eternal judgment for those apart from Christ (and Christians), there is no reason for Jesus to die on the cross. Followers of Jesus are judged but spend eternity with Christ since Jesus paid the price for their sins on the cross. When nonbelievers get judged they live in separation from God for eternity.

I respect you and your message. But as a life long Christian, I truly don’t believe that if you make mistakes in your life you will not go to heaven. I truly believe that God is a merciful God and as long as you believe in him and repent your sins you will go to heaven. I think about the thief that was next to Jesus on the cross and said “Jesus remember when you come into your kingdom (Luke 23:42).” and Jesus responded “I tell you the truth: today you will be with me in paradise Luke 23:43).” May God bless you and your family
@serenesomers81074 жыл бұрын
Julia Breitenbach I totally agree with you! However, that’s what they’re saying too! They’re just taking it one step further in saying where is you heart behind all of it. Is your faith just a mask where you go through the routine, or are you partnering your heart w Jesus’ and having the right faith and intentions behind it. Are you truly getting to know Jesus and allowing him to do the same w you? Or are you just going through the motions. All the Pharisees even kept up with all the commandments, which is honorable! but it angered Jesus that they honored the Sabbath more than caring for their brother or sister. It’s all about the heart and where the intentional priorities are. If you’re embodying Him and allowing Him to use you as His vessel, or still playing your own lord. And if you recognize this, you can repent and be forgiven!! That’s the beauty of it all!
@heatheralfano18714 жыл бұрын
Julia Breitenbach Agreed 😊 I’m a Catholic and we even have the sacrament of Reconciliation, which is like the only “true” way to be absolved of your sins. But we are also taught that if in your heart of hearts, if you truly repent for your sins and do your best to avoid that sin, you are forgiven. Jesus calls us to be the best people we can be and calls us to strive for divine holiness, yet He also recognizes that we are *human*. My best may look different from your best, but that doesn’t mean we both aren’t doing our best. Again, as a Catholic, I have been raised with a sense of fear and guilt!-but at the end of the day, He gave us Jesus so that we could be saved for our sins. That to me is the defining factor of our Lord-infinite love for His children. That’s why we have free will and the capacity to sin. Because following Him from a place of fear, which is a lack of control in itself, is what He desires-that we follow him from a place of love. That no matter how difficult the journey and how painful the falls, we always get back up and strive to be with Him. So anyway, thanks for your comment. I really appreciate you speaking up and sharing your truth.
