"5 reasons why they suck" (proceeds to have traded and owned 50 of them)
@sk8xaqАй бұрын
What the dyna said to defend itself; 8/10 moto vloggers don't have creepy hands and a speech impediment. 2 reasons you suck.

I was actually blown away when you said that they aren’t comfortable bro 😂 tell me you’ve never ridden anything but cruisers without telling me
@akidnamedsageАй бұрын
I should have been a little more specific. In my opinion, a Dyna that is set up club style is very uncomfortable to ride for more than 2 hours (for me). I've been so used to my KTM adventure and that thing is like a couch on Wheels with 160hp haha

I have a 1999 FXDL. It's not for sale. I had a 1995 FXDL but wasn't allowed to keep 4 gallons of petrol in the hallway with a family. Definitely wouldn't recommend a Harley to anyone. Lost a screw out of an indicator lens once. If you follow the factory ws for fitting the exhaust clamps go by the metric torque not the incorrect ft/inch,if you have a ws manual that is. Always use new OEM gaskets. Don't buy cheap silicone sump O rings and strip the threads trying to stop it leaking. FXDL had stainless buckhorns because they are comfortable so swap them first. Forward controls mean you can just about do 400 miles in a day if it's raining. I'm stuck with the Corbin seat and stupid v&h straight shots. Solid rear wheel and EBC HH around barely lock up on dry tarmac. Handling with uprated forks and rear to match is fine but hit some bumps and bad surface leant over and everything else you don't like won't matter. I get smoked by superbikes but there I am in the mirrors at the next junction just to piss you off. Maybe the evo has it for sound but the TC88 is still the next generation. Fueling 525 are going for s&s 509g because I don't ride much over 4k. My ears ring for days is another reason. Avon cobra chrome last really well. If you understood how a CV 40 works why would you pin the throttle like that? Wind it on or dump fuel and go over rich and sluggish.

Your comment on things vibrating loose is only true if you don’t go through the bike after buying it. Every fastener needs some form of loctite on it. When I bought my 2001, I can’t tell you how many case fasteners and various bolts were loose! But after building it and properly torquing & loctite each bolt, nothing has ever come loose on me again. Also going back together with ARP fasteners will ensure it never comes loose either. Pricey.

Yep, don't buy them so he can! Ah ha hah! I have two, love them both, lots of fun and actually quite comfortable.

I had an FXR and was riding them before “ club style “ before that dumb ass show SOA came out. I currently have a 2015 Dyna Lowrider. I like it. I don’t have it clubbed out though.

I’m also looking for a fxdx more for cruising and hitting canyons not stunting but early model FXDL are much easier to find and cheaper. I’m worried about the 32 rake on fxdl vs fxdx 28 rake. I this a valid concern? If I find clean fxdl should I pull the trigger or hold out for a bike with 28 degree rake? I understand there are much better handling bikes for canyons then both those bikes and cheaper but I want a Harley lol thanks
@akidnamedsageАй бұрын
Aesthetically I think both bikes are the same. The lowrider feels slightly more planted than the FXDX but if the low rider is set up properly, It will do good. Fxdx is slightly more nimble
@keithandcoralАй бұрын
@@akidnamedsage thanks for the reply. Do you always upgrade cam chain tensioners? What’s your experience with that? Seems to be a costly upgrade and makes early model dynas not so affordable if you immediately need to upgrade those.

A lot easier to get a passenger on a dino than a stupid rocket
@bySquintsАй бұрын
currently stuck between early model low rider or super glide preferably '02. i’m a shorter rider. besides chrome motor, gages on tank instead of mounted, and the rake on the low rider, do you have a preference of fxdl fxd/dx or any insight? thanks
@akidnamedsageАй бұрын
If you're talking early model bikes, The ones to get are the fxdl, fxdx, for fxds if you can find one. Normal Super glides are good motorcycles. I just don't like the blonde motor.
@robertperry3087Ай бұрын
Can't understand why you keep buying bikes you clearly don't like! Plus you abuse them in a way they were never intended to be used...
@pendragon1usАй бұрын
Surprise! It's not a crotch rocket. Stay off the big boy bikes till you can learn to appreciate them.

An 88 twin cam is far from a big boy bike, junior.
@seansimone-e6kАй бұрын
I’ve had a handful of twin cam motors 96 and 103 is never had a problem with them. again sounds like the way you ride it as well. You have the problems you have and those bikes are actually light.

Of course they're slow. Theyre heavy, like the fat br*ads that ride on the back
