"We're gonna grow old, but never grow up." ~Ray Bradbury Thank you, Mr. Harryhausen and Mr. Bradbury for sharing your passions with the world. You will never be forgotten.

Agreed. You can watch films like this and appreciate it at the end because you know a hell of a lot of effort went into producing them.

I was very lucky to have met Ray back in 1989 at a Sci Fi convention, and he was a very giving and very gracious man. It was also kinda neat that it was just the two of us for almost 20 minutes, a couple of artists gabbing about the craft. While some folks might go crazy over actors, I've always been a huge fan of the men & women working behind the camera.

Hey, I'm 14 and I LOVE his work. I get really pissed when someone talks bad about these effects. It's about the craft, not about how realistic you can make it.

Simplesmente o mestre dos bonecos, que inspirou muitos cineastas até os dias de hoje. Ele dava vida aos bonecos de uma maneira que não vemos no 3D, sem que não tenha animatronics como base............Falow!!!

Dear Ray HarryHausen, i beg for my message to reach heaven. I want you to know that a young boy 5 years ago watched Jason and the Argonauts and wasn't the same sins. you fascinate every young artist from a sculptor to an animator to a painter. You are the souse of inspiration for artists all over the world from the USA to Israel (that's me). So rest now in peace Ray, and may your memory live on in the films you've created, and in the monsters you made. so long legend...

4:30 I like the T.Rex from Evolution. It’s a shame that 16 Millimeter Project was never completed. Well, at least he did that 1956 Film The Animal World along with Willas O’Brian. But the fight between the Triceratops & The Tyrannosaurus Rex had to be short in The Animal World. I even saw a several shots of the originally planned fight sequence just before the Volcano 🌋 blew up bringing the reign of the Dinosaurs to an end.

to me i think he made good transformers movies. cause i hear every one saying he did horrible job (no comment on transformers 2) but i haft to know from them what were they expecting some thing like King Lear 2000 when the original story is about giant robots fighting a war. to me it sounds like their going to a Disney movie and expecting it to be a tragic ending where every one dies.
@B1izzardHawk11 жыл бұрын
then how about I show you a clip with Sentinal Prime in it in his fight against Optimus, don't have to watch the whole video, just an action scene that never gets old, although for the record I like how Bay portrayed the Transformer movies

Just give it three or four more decades. All the 30/40 something year olds who complain about CG will be dead or senile and the movies of today will be classics. Or some of them. Not Michael Bay's though.
