It was great being with ya'll here in Houston. Not every market is as busin' as Minneapolis. You got to experience my pain with me lmao. There are certain pockets in the country that are good but overall its on the decline. ( Unless you are the type of person that accept every order which I highly discourage.) In Houston and San Antonio its been extremely slow. Keep dashing on and drive safe my guy !

I live just outside of Austin, and while it’s sometimes hit or miss, I make decent money here. I signed on in San Antonio last week during lunch and all I had was extremely bad orders. $2.50 for 9 miles kind of bad. I at least make enough to survive in ATX!!!

It looks like 15 people hiit the dislike they probably work at McDonald’s somewhere and are miserable I’ve been dashing since April and I’m getting A lot better at it it just kind of proves some people will hate on you because you love what you do when you’re having a good time doing it you should always have a job doing what you love doing and what you enjoy and door dash feels less of a job to me you get to travel places it’s more of like a vacation in a sense cause I go to different areas the last time I dashed I went to Williamsburg va and then went to Busch Gardens for 2 days So yeah I love DoorDash I’m watching a lot of new KZbinrs help me learn how to improve I went for making only $50 a day when I started to now I’m making 200 a dayDoor dash is a great job to have you just have to learn how to get good at it and learn new things

Surprised that Indy was so bad. Yeah Chicago and Louisville are what I expected. Luckily I live in Milwaukee and can travel to Chicago in under 2 hours if I ever feel the need to. BTW the Bucks in the Playoffs are making bank here in Milwaukee, but otherwise Milwaukee is a very meh market overall. You didn't miss anything skipping it.

Technically not because you can only count miles where you have an order but since he's making a video about this dash, the whole trip is considered business related for his YT channel, which also earns him money and is technically a business. Therefore, he can deduct the miles. But a normal person just driving across country can't deduct those miles, only when they're actually dashing.

A 'normal' person could deduct many commuting miles as business miles if they had an app like Roadie and took a long distance delivery that matches their commute. Commuting miles are not tax deductible which is what this is, but since Eli is making KZbin videos of this journey, his entire journey is considered business related.
