Finally a video that understands that Alter is fine/Under powered and nowhere near OP. The only thing I would change to make her better is her Ult. I cant tell you how many times Ive ran into this and my teammates have too, but youre right on the Ult, youre holding whatever button is on MnK or Roller, and it never registers. I was moving my cursor over and in it and around it and it never gave me the option and I got down trying to get to it. Its too buggy/ridiculous to use effectively.

Good video, a lot of people don't realize you can use her ult while downed. She is honestly one of my favorites to play now. Her kit is really fun and useful to the team.

Only thing I want to point out is that infinite duration ults are not new to this game by a long shot. Loba's black market, rampart's ults, vantage's shots, even octane's jump pad all never expire.

The only issue w/ Alter from my POV is her being able to phase you through a wall as an offensive ability like a Wraith kidnap but with no counter. That's the only concerning issue, and maybe the range on her ultimate being a little crazy. The rest is balanced and her mobility is unique for once.

A fair analysis. Personally I found this to be a good basic explanation of her kit, but far from the "best" guide as it doesn't go over synergies with other legends/team comps and leaves out a few tips. I realize she hadn't been out for very long at the time of this video to know all of the tricks. Hopefully we will see a more in depth master guide in the future 😊

I feel like advertising Alter as a Skirmisher made people assume that shes going to have a get-out-of-jail-free card. Alter definitely could be swapped to an Assualt legend if they want to slightly buff her. But like you said shes a pretty balenced legend, only being limited by the players creativity with her tactical. I don't understand the argument of her being over powered though, I suppose its just a bunch of "little Timmy's" that got flanked by an Alter and it made them rage quit.

I mean the tac can definitely be used as a get out of jail free card, and the ultimate is the definition of get out of jail free. The point of assault legends is that their abilities do damage which hers don’t, so she makes a lot more sense as a scirmisher

@@shinxyt7333 I mean mirage used to be a Skirmisher and got moved to Support, I don't think these roles for some characters are set in stone. Also if a Skirmisher is strictly team movement, than Bangalore should absolutely be a Skirmisher with her smokes being versatile rotation and combat disruption tools. Her passive and tac are more Skirmisher-like than Alter and Rev, and she's Assualt

With ranked ultimate during endgame I place ultimate out where ring 4 and 5 storm will be then activate it in easy location towards center circle. Then enemies take it and it drops them in ring they can't survive. Lol

You and your teammates get the red highlight even if you take 30 sec ult CD as your blue upgrade. Only thing it gives you is their health bar above their head when you are in phase, it needs to be buffed a little imo agreed on B tier

I have been using my Ultimate to get my downed teammates out of deep sh*t whenever they push too far ahead. I always run a shotgun with Alter, so if the enemy takes the portal back, they're screwed.

I'm only 1 min in, people say she's overpowered? She has 0 rotational ability! Buildings she is strong, but out in a field? She's a thin caustic. She is not 'team friendly' she's fantastic for solos but in a comp? No, she has no place other than a full send squad of Rev, Octane, and her for a tactical retreat. Played ranked with her and buddy was out of shields towards endgame, snagged him some batts. Convenient. Got a 20 bomb with her today. She's balanced, fun, not OP. you are talking about her 0 movement, now. Yup! She's stuck in a lot of spots.

I don't think she's balanced, she's way above most of the other legends mainly because of her tac, escaping death is just too easy.
