For the heaven question mine is easy. A fully equipped state of the art home entertainment system, with every streaming service and every game purchase on every store. But it follows the timescale of the real world, meaning I only get new movies, shows and games when they release. Whenever there's a new console or PC hardware or whatever future VR system it arrives at my heaven doorstep in the package and I have to set it up. Basically what I wish I could do now if I had the time, money and freedom. But you still get the hype and satisfaction of new releases and hardware.

My designer heaven would include -a way to see earth and it’s internet (got to keep up with latest episodes of certain tv show, new movies, seeing how families and friends who aren’t dead yet are doing) -a way to visit other people who are already in heaven -my sentimental Pokemon to become real (or appear real to me) -every video game console and game from the past to the future (got to have something to do besides talk with people and browsing the earth’s internet)

"Everything fun is a sin" I think it's kind of worse than that. The entire point of heaven is to worship God. Heaven, biblically, is basically an eternal Church service, but amped up. And not the Megachurches which try hard to be entertaining. Heaven is literally my hell.

Heaven would be full of boring Ned Flanders-types. Hell is where all the rockstars and scientists and badasses are. I'd rather hang out with Lemmy than my old neighbour.

@@SaintPhoenixx I'm not even approaching i in the sense of 'Hell is where the interesting people go to, so it won't be that bad'. I'm assuming God, if it exists, is exactly the kind of entity that would set up Hell in such a way that, even if 'the cool kids' go there, it would still be miserable, what with the devil being a fallen Angel and Angel's not having free-will and all... I'm more taking the approach that neither option sounds good to me.

Obviously it's hypothetical and it's heaven but I think if we never needed sleep in real life, the banks and governments would just make us work 18 hour days instead of 8/9. The idea of eliminating the need for sleep is great in theory, doubling your free time to get into hobbies and spend time with family, but in reality we'd just be working twice as much for the same pay we get now. Our expenses would double [twice as much food, energy usage etc] so we'd all be trapped as wage slaves like we are now, just without that 8 hours of sleep overnight. The only reason we don't have to work 18 hour days now is that we can't, the second it becomes physically possible, it'll happen. The billionaires are probably looking into this in real life so they can keep us enslaved for more hours of the day. Also, on the "oil is nearly finished" thing, there's a reason Saudi Arabia is now taking over football by buying clubs and trying to create a super-league of stars. When oil is over, they'll move to sport and just own a ton of clubs and get their billions that way.
