I saw the Roadshow a few days ago, and goddamn! What a cinematic experience! I felt like high off the film experience afterwards. Totally unforgettable. It was great to sort of relive it by watching your vlog. I'm definitely gonna see it again, probably not the Roadshow again though. It's gonna be weird without the intermission. The intermission was so perfect, and you can tell just from your reactions, how exciting you guys were, how you just had no fucking idea of where Tarantino was gonna take you. That's what the roadshow is like: you submit yourself fully to Tarantino and you give him full control over the next three hours of your life and you know he's gonna take you somewhere special.

Hey there guys. New to your channel and I sirs robed. Great vlog. I really wanna see the roadshow version soooo bad!! The closet theater that's showing it near me is an 1 hour and 10 minute drive.

The First Time I saw the Roadshow experience, I didn't notice any quality difference between digital and film. I thought it was film though. However, the screen they had it in was very small. I saw it again yesterday and the screen was a lot bigger. It turns out that they must have installed a 70mm projector at Arizona Mills mall and not just at Tempe Marketplace because it had that subtle "shake" to it. It seemed more film like although I just assumed they transferred the roadshow version onto digital. I did notice that a scene was missing that I could have sworn was in the Roadshow cut that I saw the first time. It was the bit where Chris Mannix was arguing with the Colonel about sitting at the table and getting something to eat. There was the bit with the half plucked chicken and then the whole complete Jim Jones song with the bit where she "messes up."

Did you guys experience anything bad during the 70mm screening? The screening I went to had this awful flickering image whenever they were out in the snow. Basically it flickered really bad whenever there was a lot of white light. Especially in the beginning opening shots of the snowy mountains and shit. :/

+Michael Amora This was our first time seeing Hateful which went perfect. We went again on New Years Eve and that time we encountered a blurry screen at times. Then at one point it was a huge yellow line down the side of the screen. We sat at the very top of the theater in the before intermission. and then after intermission we sat close and it was extremely blurry the closer you got. It was defnintely annoying.

+Michael Amora Yep it was more so subtle though. I think they had a better projector though. The first time we went to that really nice cinema and the second time we just went to an AMC location and there definitely was a quality difference.
