The Hatfield Over Under Shotgun- Initial Thoughts.

I bought one in April of 23 and after 8 months my hatfield busts open when firing..dangerous gun and now hatfield is no longer alive. Don't waste your money if you find one.

@BillWeschrekCraneService that's wild, sorry you're going through that. How many times did you shoot it before that happened? Also what do you mean "busts open?" They appear to be open, but I've head their customer service is awful. Thanks tor the comment.

@JimmyLeeTennessee I only shot it a few months maybe bout 500 rounds and bust open means the barrel would break open when I shoot.

@BillWeschrekCraneService yeah that's what I thought you meant. That's no Bueno for sure. A least it isn't slam-firing. Seen many Italian doubles that fill fire when you close them. It's nuts. But either way your gun should not be broken in just 500 rounds! I'll let ya know if I run into similar issues and we appreciate the warning.

@JimmyLeeTennessee I already replaced upper fire pin and in trigger assy the trigger hook [don't know real name] was worn in half and has Crack in stock.....I have a weatherby orion sport now fantastic gun
