I wanna share an experience. So I was around 19 years old at that time, I've always wondered how it would feel when you are about to die. Like what are your thoughts, how would you feel when your life is about to end. Would you feel scared? I got the answer in my dreams. So in the dream I was on my way to a mall with my friend. My dad warned me not to ride the bike really fast. I said okay, my friend Antony also agreed and we were really responsible on our way to the mall. But while returning back there was a particular road which was a really steep slope. It's a steep slope with a sudden turn. If you miss that turn you are falling off a huge cliff. It's like if you miss a hairpin and you will fall to whatever the bottom of the hill is. My friend Antony told me we will ride down the cliff really fast and hit the brakes to slow down and take the turn no issues. I protested a lot, but eventually thought it was worthwhile since I wanted to ride down the hill really fast too. So that's what we did. We couldn't slow down and couldn't turn so we fell off the cliff. The first feeling I came to my mind was regret. The regret that I didn't value my dad's advice. I literally said in my head " I should have listened to my dad". I felt sad that I am gonna miss my family. I regretted that I couldn't spend time with them anymore. There was no fear of death, there was no anxiety, there was nothing at that moment except my mind saying if I had one more chance I would never do this. While falling down the cliff I saw a pond towards the bottom. So now it was a way for me to somehow survive the fall. I've never fell off a bike before. I've never even went sky diving. But I could literally feel the turbulence of air on my face. I don't remember what happened after that. From that day on, I've never stopped obeying what my dad had to say. I've always valued his opinion to the core. I did it even before that, but now valuing his advices had a purpose.

I've been stuck in an elevator for one hour and it was no picnic so I can relate to what he experienced. I was so pissed at that elevator company that I wrote the manager in charge as they were so so unprofessional and nonchalant about the whole thing.....maybe if I was white they would have appeared immediately....thiswas in England BTW!

Secondly, if your cell phone can't communicate, trying to open the elevator door is another way of communicating with maybe a technician/security/building supervisor who might hear your call for attention. Pls note you're NOT trying to climb out from the elevator car!

My experience with lift begin with fun and end with disaster and sadness. I went to my aunt's marriage with family at the wedding venue nearby a Shopping mall. So, me and my cousin decided to visit the mall we did and start playing in lifts up and down like a roll coaster. But when the time of closing the mall comes near most of my cousins went back to the wedding except me and one wedding. I have told them to tell security guard we all are going back and we two hide somewhere. So that when security guard came for last check he found nobody in the mall. Everything going with the plan. Just when security guard completed its last check we two again enter the lift and start playing mall was empty we are enjoying because that lift was not closed but the one which has glass. Suddenly lift get stuck I thought it is due to power off done by security guard or it get stuck. But whole mall has pin-drop silence we were shouting nobody was there to listen us. My cousin start crying I try to boost him don't cry I'm with you. So we just together stuck till moring when the mall open agian and I unable to see all the ceremonies of my aunt's marriage. That was one hell of a experience the only thing good was that lift is a glass type not the steel or closed one. whole night two kids in the lift.

I got stuck in a lift when i was in 8th standard , in a hotel with 8 other friends, the door of lift closed and the lift didnt move as it had become overweight , everyone was scared, banging the door but no one came for 1 hour . and thats how got scared of lifts, this happened to me in 2018 and since then i never used lift, even my house is on 10th floor i climb the stairs every time

Same kind of thing happened to me . I am in class 11th and I feel a strange feeling about this. So when diwali holidays end i continue to go school but one day I watch a scene about my class that my class changed and we were going to another class and after that my physics teacher started teaching a topic of centre of mass I don't able to recall the topic but I remember his words . i was stuck in the elevator for 30 minutes , it had glass metal doors , first thing i did was on the fan so that i don't suffocate and yeah someone saw me stuck through glass of the door and helped me out , but if u r stuck in metal non glass doors try some measures like calling or sos and if scary things happen just chant Shri Hanuman Chalisa , JAI SHREE RAM !

Honestly at this point I think garbar lift mein nahi iss bande ke saath hi hai lol🫠 But anyway jokes aside. I think I have seen and heard enough since i was a kid for me to always avoid elevators. No matter what I take steps I have never experienced anything myself but as I said heard enough. Some office buildings their are even no stairs you only have to take elevators apart from that I am a stairs person no matter how many floors.
