Here's another helping from Margery Lawrence's "Nights of the Round Table". Good one for playing innuendo bingo with too 😁. SPOILERIFIC CONTENT ADVICE: 🐶🦴 A dog briefly has a poorly tummy. COMING NEXT: A great tale by Nugent Barker (not a dog).

I think this is a good place for my *Chicken & Dumpling* recipe w/ roll out dough ...easy recipe These are *US* measurements 3/4 cup water (that's just short of a full cup so 1/3 cup shortening like *Crisco* which is a *veggie* hard/solid shortening any brand will be fine as far as I know (this is NOT oil) it must be a solid like lard but it is veggie type 1 or 2 eggs (I use 1 egg) helps it mix if *whisked* first 2 & 1/2 cups All~Purpose Flour 1 teaspoon salt (Optional) Chicken ... I use pre~cooked canned/tinned boneless breasts. Any pre~cooked chicken will do. Any amount Broth ... I use store bought chicken or veggie broth a whole big carton or 2 & you can add to it *must be boiling* when you drop in dough slices, then *simmer* till done about 15 ~ 20 minutes. Stir gently to prevent bottom sticking Mix ALL ingredients & kneed lightly. You can add more flour if dough is too thin. Dough will be stretchy. You can roll out on cutting board or whatever you have & cut in this strips or just pinch off small pieces & drop into boiling broth & pre~cooked chicken. This is an easy recipe the way I make it & the dough is forgiving. If you are a beginner cook the board you roll out on will require more flour on it to prevent dough sticking to it. Good Luck
