Ivan Yeo is an award winning chef and the founder of 1925 Brewing Co. This is a 2 part series to Ivan's supernatural confession on how he discovered he has the third eye to see ghosts, and his experience had been validated on numerous occasions.
His scariest encounter was the one at a shophouse unit at Syed Alwi Road, where he came face to face with a shadow figure that stood between him and the only exit out of the building. He had no where to run.

Previously worked at shophouse at Mount Sophia as a designer too and stayed till 2-3am. The printer started printing by itself, footsteps on the 2nd floor and shuffling of files and like what Ivan said, we were too tired to feel fear (the biggest fear was missing the deadline). So I shouted at it to stop playing tricks because it's not funny. Funny thing is it really stopped, but i never checked what was printed. I'm not the type to see things but there was always a space in that shophouse that felt wrong/trapped.

Its true, i was also working in a shop house on third floor before late in the evening alone and its drizzle outside. All of a sudden, i hear footsteps from downstairs and plastic shuffling and stopped halfway without hearing downstairs door shut. Obviously, there's no way if my colleague will be going home without closing the door as old shop house is very old, and the sounds foem downstairs can be hear clearly.

It's a huge mistake to challenge a spirit or ghost especially if it's an evil spirit. When encounter one either you say a prayer for protection & seek help from any benevolent entities you believed in.

Indeed. Unfortunately in many churches today, esp in the mega-churches, the people are taught to always challenge and confront any spirit that they encounter. They are taught that as long as you are a Christian, any spirit will be frightened of you. That is a very dangerous teaching which can potentially cause great harm to the Christians who believe it.

And yes, as mentioned, always invoke a higher power when you are dealing with a troublesome spirit. Never handle it by your own strength. Buddhists should invoke Kuan Yin or any familiar Buddha or Bodhisattva. Taoists can call Guan Gong or any deity that they often pray to, e.g. Ma Zu (妈祖). Catholics can invoke St. Michael the Archangel, or the Virgin Mary.

There's one time last year on one night i just finished hanging my clothes at my house porch & when i was about to go inside my house, my son who was 7 years old at that time was near the door asked me. Daddy, who is that red eyes behind you? I was so shocked because I knew my son won't be joking about this kind of things to me. So I immediately shut the door & told him probably some insects. I then immediately prayed to Archangel Michael for protection against it on my whole family because I definitely sure what my son saw was an evil entity. And it works. Nothing happened to my family. From that day onwards i never hang my clothes out at night. Shout-out to Archangel Michael. You are an awesome & cool archangel!

I remembered Eugene mentioned about some steps to take when you encounter a spirit: 1st, ignore them. 2nd, if it does not work, challenge them, or scold vulgarity. 3rd, if things around you start flying around, say sorry and walk away.

I used to work for my uncle at syed alwi shophouse too sometime ard early 2000s..cant rem if it was level 2 or 3. The toilet was actually located away from the main office area, meaning gotta pass thru a door (old style door with a push lock button) and walked out to something like a backyard where the toilet is. I was alone in the office that day so can u imagine how scary was it when i couldn’t get back into the office after gg to the toilet. The door that was connecting the backyard and main office was locked from inside! And like what ivan mentioned, if anyone were to walk up to the 2nd or 3rd level, the sound of the footsteps will be very distinct. So im very sure, there was no one except myself so who could’ve locked the damm door?! It was a lucky thing i had my phone with me that day so i was able to call my uncle for help. Well, i guessed i was not the only one who had strange encounters there coz right after that incident, my uncle engaged a “medium” to “clean up” the plc 😅

I used to do some freelance work for a friend whose design company was at a shophouse in Chinatown. I was the only one working to finish a project and because it was to be presented to the client the next day, I stayed up until 3am. I experienced a black figure darting from one end of my eye to the other end behind me, radio channel that was playing went to static noise, footsteps with chains dragging behind me, and a loose floorboard my chair was on tilted as the footstep walked past it.

I have seen a one-footed entity's foot step manifestation in a CCTV screen of night vision. It was only this foot step making a Michael Jackson's moon walk & Fred Astaire combo with a U-turn to repeat this routine! And it was only about 8pm when all lights were switched off to call it a day & only this CCTV's 6 screens illuminating the dark office. You know what - based on my estimation of this foot step's size comparing to an air well grill door on the left of its dance routine, the foot step size was about 18 inches long!!! After relating this incident to my colleagues the next day, it made know it's appearance via my mind's eyes - an afro-haired female entity with fangs & only one leg wearing a men's black leather shoe! A Michael Jackson wannabe? FYI, this was the same CCTV that captured orbs flying (intelligently, not dust) which I witnessed on several mornings at 7am.

I totally believe the part he hear steps down the staircase in a rush manner. There was once me and my friend were walking through the fort canning park at the upper portion near the stairs, suddenly I heard foot steps in slippers some distant away below. Still walking, I just peer down the stairs towards the direction where the slippers sound came from until we walked past it then I turn back and ask my friend: Me: 'Eh, you got hear slippers or not? Him: 'Yeah'. Me: 'But from where ah, nobody below leh' Suddenly the foot steps in slippers become rushing up the stairs, getting louder and closer towards us. Immediately we ran, LOL.

Interestingly, most people talked about seeing or meeting such ‘things’. But very very few people talk about meeting divine beings, or supernatural occurrances, which I did. I never seen ghosts in my life, but I know they do exist. These are spirits from the lower worlds. They maybe dissatified beings who come to haunt people. People like Putin are those who are being prossessed by such dark forces. Dark forces do exist. Accidnts dun just happen. There are many dark forces in the streets. Every single day, people should pray for protection. I have an enlightened master who can see ghosts and divine beings from all religions. He can read my thoughts like a computer screen.

i never openly shared my experience with others before because I doubt what I see- but this video encourage me to share a recent one. Ghost month, 10am + on a Saturday, Bdr Sri Dsara, KL msia. I’m driving home and see a thin dark skinned man carrying a baby in a babycarrier sling (baby facing outwards) and standing by a traffic light. My first thought is he is peddling/ displaying the baby for handouts/ money to buy baby food or necessities. I rush home to take rm100 and back to the spot to pass to him. No where to be found. I’m having doubts too coz the man might be waiting for a friend, although the spot doesn’t allow cars to stop. Anyway I’m more convinced that I saw something ‘different’ than a man that same evening when I went into my car (parked whole day under the sun in an open area) and immediately smell something rotten, like garbage or rotten fruit inside my car. My car was just clean and nothing on the tyres. After driving for 1-2 minutes the smell disappeared.

Sounds. Everyday sounds are imprinted in our subconscious. We are in our office, whole day, and after years of working, the office sounds get imprinted in our brains. When we are alone in the office, all quite, because everyone has gone home, and no one there to make any noise. Our mind will start hearing the metal file cabined closing, doors opening sound, footsteps, coughing, toilet flushing, etc. Those are sound we hear everyday through out the years. When everything is quiet, they echo in the mind. They are always fleeting sounds. People get frightened and will excitedly tell their haunted place story the next day.

Essentially the last part , it could intimidate you but probably could not get to you. Although I had not gone to this extent of one on one this style, saying prayers to Christ and declaring Jesus is with me works . The battlefield is psychological, that's why in the Bible it ask you to ask God to guard your hearts. Ultimately the Holy Spirit is with you, that's why there is no harm to you even you go pass it. The battle was lose once you have chosen fear of your life over chosen Christ. I don't blame you , once someone in these situation fear usually seized you .

I don't know what sort of christian he is. He can't challenge evil spirits by throwing physical objects but just the name of Jesus. I can see that he's just a nominal christian not committed. Why certain people can see spirits are because of generational curse not gift. Before I became a christian, I can feel evil spirits in places, houses & even in human but now a christian, I rebuked whatever generational curses & asked for God's gift. Asians tend to worship ancestors, deities & other gods created by human hands which God forbid because He is spirit. Others, dabbled in black magic, etc; so these curses passed down through generation.

Just as he mentioned there are a group of Christian believers who could sense or see the dark entities. Usually they are the seers who work in Christian deliverance ministries. They help to pray for deliverance from evil spirits, break generational sins or curses etc. Seers can also see angels of God and other heavenly beings which they partner with. These supernatural occurrences will only increase in this age. After I become a Christian, my senses of such things only gets sharper so as to know what or how to pray. Christians please Get pastors to bless office or homes
